I haven't touched a Sonic game since SA2: Battle and I'm liking this so far. I'm still not used to the voice cast, but they're growing on me.

I like everybody but Sonic, he just sounds so much deeper that it is kind of strange. He lacks that smarmy cunt sound the other VAs would give him. He is more heroic in this anyway I guess so it kind of fits, but still.

Honestly I always pick the Japanese voices in every game since I discovered you can do that. The voice actors are so much better... and not just that but I particularly dislike the english voices, even the spanish ones are better than the english. I didn't know it was possible, but the new direction for Amy's english voice in Frontiers is even more annoying than how she previously sounded in english - it took me years to warm up to her character and see her as anything but obnoxious until I switched the voice language to something else.

I also prefer the Japanese ones, mostly because they are the same since SA 1
 
Disappointing to see SEGA isn't bringing back the $2.50 Super Sonic from Sonic Forces, that was the best dlc ever.

This game's meant to fill the game between now and the next Sonic game, fairly certain something to that effect was said in an interview during the press blitz marketing, so it begs the question of whether SEGA's mulling any sort of substantial paid DLC for the game. New open-world locations and whatnot.

Just finished Sonic Triple Trouble 16-Bit. Honestly a pretty damn solid fan game. Only drawbacks were how abrupt the ending was and the fact that you can't use Super Sonic until your 2nd playthrough, but overall pretty damn good. Also Sunset Park's music SLAPS, HOT DAMN

Its funny. Cindy Robinson is completely different than you expect. Compare her Amy to Queen Beryl in Sailor Moon, Nouhime in Samurai Warriors 3, and Kagura in Naruto...hell better yet fucking Astrid in Skyrim!
 
Some Sonic fan on Twitter made the mistake of pissing off the chinese playerbase of Genshin and getting them to start botting votes in retaliation.

If you don't know, Chinese gamers are some of the most thin-skinned, sensitive people on Earth. No joke. Monster Hunter World got review bombed because of a corny "chi-knees" joke in the live action film. This fan chose one of the main characters who is a really big waifu to them apparently.

The replies are full of angry, vulgar messages either in Chinese or broken English.

Tons of accusations of racism too, same thing happened with Monster Hunter. You can't criticize Genshin because it's devs are chinese.

I would've grabbed more screencaps but unfortunately the guy who posted the render deleted it. Probably because Chinese Genshin players were spamming his DMs too. Today's the day of mourning for China's past leader, so the NEETs have a lot of time on their hands today.
