He's an NPC from Sonic '06. His whole thing was that he wanted to be better than sonic or something.
I'm gonna need to see more than that. That teaser shows almost nothing.

Most interesting things about Sonic Prime was both it’s leaks/series description.
The description talked about how it was about self discovery or something like that, it was very odd and didn’t make too much scene.
That changed at least for me when the leaks came out and I realized that the series’ end goal was to find “Sonic Prime” and not that we’re following said Sonic Prime.
Don’t know if that changed, there’s still a chance that’s the case because it could be actually very interesting.

That's an extremely obnoxious Sonic, like the movie. It's tolerable in a film but not a long running series.

It's for a SATAM Season 3 project that has been going on for at least 12 years, it was comic until now where it seems that we're getting close to the animated episode they've been working on for years.
They got the Crush 40 guy to sing, the one who sang "Open Your Heart, Live and Learn, What I'm made of, and etc."
Not too sure why you didn't research even a little bit before making this post, the non-specific nature of it is very bizarre, especially because of the topic in question.

The cast for Sonic Prime has been revealed and ironically, almost all the voice actors are former My Little Pony voice actors.

Theres a sonic cd romhack on cdromance called sonic cd++ that gives the spin dash from sonic 2. I might start playing it. I never fully played CD before. The wierd spindash and exploration put me off a little bit.
Didnt knuckles have a really high pitched squeaky voice in underground? It could work if they set him up as Sonic's rival and not just dumb muscle.

The first problem with Shadow the Hedgehog was that it suffered from the technological limitations of the platform generation it released on. The second problem is that blending Sonic-style gameplay with shooting is completely pointless, because, like I said previously, the whole point of Sonic is that enemies are merely another type of obstacle, not something that you actually stop and fight.
The amazing pre-rendered CG intro hypes you way, way the hell up. "Holy shit, this is amazing!"
And then, in-engine, it looks like this:
Tech has improved so much in the past 17 years, it is now possible for very small teams to produce fangames with real-time rendered graphics that look nearly as good as pre-rendered CG from that time period, on a budget best described as nonexistent.

Honestly, if someone genuinely believed that the CGI intro will be exactly like the rest of the game; you can tell that they're probably underaged.
This issue has been around before the transition to 3D and hardly anyone complained about it.

I'm not personally optimistic for Sonic Prime, I feel like they are going to drop the ball with the AU stuff but who knows.
