The Minecraft Sonic DLC released an update a few days ago where it adds new skins based on the Sonic Movie (also Super Sonic, that was probably also added because of the movie)

Note: new skins start after the Werehog skin.

It also adds a new zone, the infamous "Labyrinth Zone" which could be founded as strange because all the other zones are from the Classic Era in Sonic Generations.

But it makes more sense when you consider that Labyrinth Zone made a large appearance in the Sonic Movie 2 and was where the Master Emerald was located, which is the reason why this zone comes with collectible hidden Master Emerald shards to find in it.

It's a pretty decent level and is probably the best one in the whole DLC which isn't that much of accomplishment but still.

it makes it clear that it's more of Sonic Movie thing rather than the one inside of the original Sonic the Hedgehog which is evident by how hard it puts emphasis on the owls.

Like in the games there was a hippo statue head that shot fire at you, here it's an own head instead.

It was a very clever move to incorporate Labyrinth Zone in the movie as the owl people's ruins because of the owl murals in the zone tho.

It gave them more of a connection to the games than before where they were probably just remnants of the old plot of the first movie with the lizard person villain (that I think was replaced with the Echidna Tribe.)

Anyways to close this off, I want to point out that in the DLC, you can't even really win...


Update: they did reference the hippo statue in the movie, my bad.

But it's a dragon or something for somewhere, might be a case of a misread sprites though.

It's just like those Elsagate vids, but with Sonic. Look at how many views and votes these videos have, but how few comments there are and how few votes are on those comments. They're artificially boosting their views and likes with bots or something. What the fuck?

I swear to god, there is some kind of sweatshop somewhere on this planet where they chain poor, sobbing Pajeets to their desks and feed them curry to make these goddamn things.

Well if Amy is in there that could mean Sonic R is on there. That's the only time she showed up and was heavily used when they still used the classic designs for a home console. Her design was different for Sonic CD.

I wonder if they'll put The Fighters on there like The Gems collection. Sonic R, CD, and The Fighters were the main draw to that collection and if origins contains all of them it would be pretty much have nearly everything from the old games except Chaotix.

Wait, it's another collection? Who even gives a shit? Literally every generation since the fucking saturn has had one.

I thought this was going to be some Sonic Mania thing.
