I'm just gonna come out and ask but what do you guys think of a Silver vs Sage game? Based on this one interaction people are losing their minds over a potential future rivalry. Personally I could see it happening.

Very interesting idea. Shame it'll never happen because where would you fit Sonic in?

Is Sage becoming a mainstay? I can't see how that'll work with the whole status quo reset in every single game if we get goofy mad scientist Eggman back on the next main title. She came across as a one-off to me.

Then again, they keep bringing Zavok back and that guy has even less staying power.
 
It would anchor Silver firmly in Sonic's timeline rather than his own time period, where we know Sage and Eggman are no longer significant antagonists. Silver's story potential is really gimped outside of dragging him into Sonic's time period.

Because there's no longer anything going for Silver other than being yet another friend of Poochie-sorry, Sonic. Sage I dunno why she's around, Sonic has plot armor so all of her plans will fail, and she has to compete with Eggman's genius anyway. Maybe Sage will fade in the mainline games? This kart game is probably not canon.

One problem with that line... Eggman DIDN'T cause a bad future in Silver's time, it was Iblis. In fact, one would say that Eggman really didn't do shit in 06 aside from constantly kidnapping Elise. Mephiles was more of a thread to the world.

Besides, even if Eggman did trigger Iblis, how the fuck would he co-exist with it? It's been proven time and time again that any monster eggman tries to control turns on him and beats the shit out of him, so it would imply Eggman would have died along with everyone else in Silver's timeline.

I don't see this realistically happening unless they actually make an effort to plug up all the potential plot-holes this pairing would cause.
 
so back to crossworlds. it's been leaked that NiGHTS is going to be playable in the roster. a friend of mine informed me about this. this is suppossed to be a back of the box art for Crossworlds for ps5.

not surprised. when i was playing the ONT, i noticed a color palette for vehicle customization that resembles nights so this leak might be confirmed. both sonic and nights were made by the same person in sega and sonic team. and nights has been in alot of the sonic games, either as a cameo or a level for Nights or straight up as a playable character. hell, in sonic adventure 1 and 2, if you raise a chao into an adult with investment into its fly stat, it will look like nights.

i found this youtube video that shows every reference, cameo, and appearance for all the sonic games that nights is in.


also, one more thing. sega said that they have no plans to add any content from sonic's film trilogy by paramount. so... that means no ben schwartz sonic and keanu reeves shadow. damn shame.

Seeing how Flynn likely wrote or at least consulted for this, I'm pretty sure Silver is referring to IDW's Metal Virus arc, which starts with Silver seeing a bad future that was caused by Eggman.

You know, I must have missed something over the years and am now out of the loop because I don't understand why those comics are constantly being crossed-over with the games.

I thought it was odd when the decided to add those characters to a mobile game back in 2017, but now it seems to just be oozing into everything game related.
 
apparently the Sonic IDW writer and artist Gigi Dutriex, who draws the characters with top scars and approves porn books in a children's comic book series, has been smeared against by an influencer Grummz for controversial posts about Charlie Kirk and his assassination. also according to people, a "twansfobic" sonic xitter user named Krack has apparently doxxed Gigi but i couldn't find anything on it. Gigi is also apparently on the "Charlie Kirk Data Foundation website where everyone who celebrated Charlie's murder has been doxxed, but the site is currently down so that's a mystery for now too.

Because autistic man children have infiltrated all the writing departments of game companies. They cannot get enough sonic and think it's cool to include crappy spin off material in the main line series. Sonic is going to turn out like Halo where every game's story is finished in a book (comic for sonic).

Grummz hasn't really smeared Dutriex, he's just gay for reposting Krack's image.

Gigi has not been doxed by anyone notable in right-leaning Sonic circles; no doxes were posted on /v/, /co/, /sthg/, /fast/, or even by Krack. We all know how "things have escalated" with Keffals - they didn't, so I wouldn't discount the possibility she's doing the same song and dance.

Gigi's now fled to Bluesky after getting raked over the coals on Twitter by conservative accounts flooding her tweets. She's removed mention of IDW/Sonic from her account bios, but that doesn't mean she's not working on it anymore. She definitely still is, just laying low til the heat dies down.

Were I not on my phone presently, I'd find the relevant posts and images. I'll get onto it in a couple hours.
 
I really hope they do not include any IDW comic characters in Crossworld
