Eggplant Wizard being exposed as a porn author writer who wrote werewolf incest rape was hilarious which kept me around. Surely everybody wasn’t insane. I was wrong.

But the brits were way better at flying them for a while because they had all their harrier guys check out as helo pilots in training, but when the B+ model came out, they got fly by wire to help on all the input management so then the only thing killing pilots was shitty workmanship from the factory and not bad design or poor training practices

The Osprey is super safe, honestly. Everyone quotes those first two crashes when it was a prototype, but after they added the redundant transmission assembly between the turbines, they've been pretty good for rotors. I think every crash that's been maintenence or mechanically related has been without a single casualty because they're pretty manageable to get down safely.

Compare that to the phrog that it replaced and it's hard to find guys who don't appreciate flying them

As far as training, I *think* they get multi engine turbine and helo rated before stepping in to the 22

I never understood the controversy on that one. If I could make an extra 10 grand a year by spending an hour a month shitting out werewolf porn to bored housewives, I'd fucking do it too.

It was because she banned porn threads and would give people a sixer for horny posting, so goons found her a giant hypocrite. She also had a blog from her teenage years where she’d post stories and screenshots from the Sims about rape and incest. Also had a troon dad who trooned out when she was a teen, which really explains her obsession with rape and incest.

That was part of the hilarity.

See EPW had built herself up as some intellengista crusader for morality and equality or w/e, shutting down the porn & attractive threads in PYF (as well as any other thread that generated posts but she didn't personally was interesting) so when it came out she supplemented her income from working in the Classics department of Rutgers univesity by writing werewolf rape and incest porn using the pen name Kali Lowe, it so thoroughly eroded her e-cred she had to resign.

Ah that's the context that gets left out to really make it funny.

That was so long ago, I don't even really remember when DPPH was around or for how long. But it's comical SA went from a dedicated forum for porn to a werewolf rape erotica writer banning horny threads.
 
EPW also instituted a complete ban on memes and image macros in PYF, despite PYF basically being an image board, because she thought they were unbecoming in some way and didn't like them personally.

If SA is famous for anything, it was for creating some of the internet's earliest viral content and memes. Ten years later, posting All Your Base on SA itself became bannable.
 
The other thing EPW would do because she was a bored and unhappy person in a relationship that would never end in marraige.

She would make thread specific rules and then cross apply them. basically imagine get a prob for beaking a rule that was for another thread.

That also a problem is SA a liberal hive mind with freedom or puritanical hive mind with FREEDOM from offensive shit.
 
The EPW saga shone a light on goon erotica. The threads where goon erotica was discussed was tucked away in some subforum that barely received traffic otherwise. Another mod who was part of this was moana (real name: Moana Evans).

Moana was another catlady who was just as hypocritical as EPW and all of a sudden she showed up in BFC threads asking how she could get tax advantages with a $250k boost in income from a side gig she wouldn’t disclose. Moana was a socialist but when her goon erotica empire was raking in dough, she wanted to cut the taxes she had to pay even though she may have been in the dreaded 1% now.

When EPW stepped down, Moana did too to avoid Something Sensitive’s attention. A couple years later, she announced she was a millionaire. Around that time, Amazon restructured the way they paid self publishers who let their books be used for Kindle Unlimited. By some goon estimates, their cash flows dropped by over 90%. She now just works part time gigs per her LinkedIn.
