I read more pages of it than I should've, and it seemed to go something like this:
  1. FYAD: There are these deranged bloodthirsty lunatics in C-SPAM posting death fantasies and telling people to kill themselves! They must be stopped!
  2. C-SPAM: Yeah we do that, we're mad about chinavirus and bernie. Wait, you guys are constantly doing that too!
  3. FYAD: ...Well it's in our rules that we can tell people to kill themselves... it's totally different...
It's like a reality show where you can't take either side of some beef because everyone there is a crazy asshole.

Also I remember back when alot of mods were true and honest women. They would probate or ban people for saying bitch. I remember some dude wrote a story about some old lady paying with like an old dollar coin or something and he concluded the story by calling her a dumb "bitch" and he got a ban for that.

I'd take their 2004 incarnations back for sure, since the catladies circa 2004, while insufferable and cancerous at the time, would probably be regarded as far right shitlord nazis by SA today.

Those same catladies circa 2020 though? Nah, it'd just be changing window dressings on the Titanic. I don't keep track of most of them, but I do know that Rachael "Ozma" Gilbert, as of a year or two ago, had absolutely kept up with the times when it came to being an insane, unfunny, wokescold cunt. I imagine that's the same for Fistgrrl, IceQueen, and the rest of the cat ladies.

Also the catladies allowed the troon bullshit to flourish so the outcome would be the same anyway. The catladies had absolutely no business being moderators and helped accelerate the demise of SA.

This assumes SA is worth keeping, which it isn’t. Letting it crash and burn as wokescolds wring the last bit of life out of it while the former owner uses LOL GRANDMA humor to an audience of 30 people (most of whom are there to laugh at it and watch the train wreck) is the proper way for SA to go.

I never understood why people, even here, keep thinking SA is worth salvaging and hanging on to. Its window of relevance was 20 years ago. It’s like pining for nu metal or mullets to come back into fashion. Let it go, let this shit show die. Let the internet equivalent of Fred Durst fuck off forever.

in the end, it was only the fyad mods who showed up to respond. all of the cspam mods are absent from both threads about their subforum in qcs and within the subforum. can’t wait for that to explode.

I think another mod or admin had to tell her to stop posting in there because she was so obnoxious and unfunny. Unsure if she was a true and honest woman but I think I've got a picture of her floating around.

I joined in 98, got free rolled into the pay thing and my account now says 2001. I’m pretty much a lurker now but I occasionally post and to answer the question earlier about why SA is worth saving:

I got a free account in 02 from a friend that thought I would make a thread about flying harriers but instead I got banned for calling some anime posting dude in FYAD a retarded faggot for some reason, and when some chick came in defending him I referred to her as a bleeder
