I think I found the post I was thinking of. It was NOT from something awful I guess, but I'm gonna repost it because its funny (bottom post is the one I am referring to)

Right now GBS is trying to put together a drunk history series and if it goes through it will be an amazing source for goon lolz. Maybe SA really will prosper under Jeff's leadership?

I can’t imagine selling cats is much of a “hustle” given they are given away for free everywhere during kitten season.

He’s doing the absolutely bare minimum to survive, but it just happens to be more than a typical goon because he lives in mom’s shack in AK not mom’s house in Des Moines.

It’s the not improving circumstances and having zero ambition at 40 that makes him a tried and true goon.

Maybe not cat psychologists, but veterinarians probably are in demand in remote areas of rural Alaska (as medical professionals often are) if you’re willing to hop on a plane.

I’ll give him a bit of credit: He asks intelligent questions about his problems, wants to improve his situation, has self-awareness, and comes from real poverty, unlike the daddy’s-money communist cock choppers on the forum.
 
The only reason ya'll are giving that guy an inch is because he's (presumably) white. He totally sounds like the reservation losers I know from when I was in school: not at all stupid but raised in a drunken lazy culture that begets drunken lazy adults. He can make 99% of his problems disappear just by getting a job, but that's somehow impossible to him even though he's an able-bodied adult and has been for 22 years. Save your credit for people who are actually trying.

If individuals live within a culture- which is part of a wider economic and political system- that leaves them behind, I would suggest that closer to 99% than 1% of his problems lie with that culture and economy and political system. You better believe I would feel the same way about a man or woman on the res looking after his mother with no prospects of finding a fulfilling way forward in life.

Doesn't exactly help that he jumped on with a toxic online community.

Think about it, dude. Goon projects were already a joke long before SA was pozzed, now you have the added uphill battle of dealing with assholes who get offended over everything.

So its amazing how mods can make or break a forum. There was talk of Epstein's "sucide" and burt sexual got called out for being a clinton deffending faggot who had to stop all talk of Epstein, with burt gone it was mentioned in passing in GBS and no one got probed or anything.
