Everyone on Twitter is saying Jim's dead. Too widespread for a joke. Damn. I appreciated Jim just taking the mockery on the chin even after corsair made him into a supermeme. Didn't stop him posting. Never saw him say or do anything I associate with the worst of SA or FYAD, and he was the subject of some of the best stuff So long, Jim.

I would argue that he isn't even worth a footnote - he's just the guy who started the site. Most of Something Awful's footnote-worthy shennanigans were things that Lowtax had no part in and actively disliked. They were things his writers and forums users did instead and any successes they had were in 0 part due to Lowtax.
