Akshually, women had it better in East Germany than in West Germany. The German Federal Ministry of Family Affairs even views the German Reunion as a setback for women's rights in the East.

The East German Communist Party thought that the emancipation of women would be accomplished when the general emancipation of the working class as a whole was realized. The "women’s question" was directly incorporated into the social question. Feminists were perceived as a disturbance within the class struggle and a danger to the objectives of communism.

As a result, women were encouraged to apply for jobs and not just become a housewife and their rights in the workplace were more advanced than in West Germany. The rate of female employment was higher than in the West Germany and the pay gap between the two sexes wasn't so severe. There were also much better support structures for mothers in the workplace and for those enrolled in college. The birth rate was higher than in West Germany and, after the Reunion, quickly hit rock bottom.
Arbeit Macht Frie, eh Franz?

They have taken one page from Lowtax though; asking their members to stop being violent psychopaths on their forums.

What makes that perfect is that they're not being told to not make those threats because it's wrong. It's only because the person writing the warning is paranoid that they would get into trouble for it. Not even concern over the safety of the posters who would allegedly get 'completely disappeared by the feds'.

Just a *chef's kiss* of what to expect from the forum.

So you're saying that the real reason Germans are so obsessed with arbeit is because it's an aphrodisiac for them and that when you take it away you end up with insane women and sexually repressed men.

Reminder of the most important role of government:

Disappearing people and then reappearing them at the court house where they're released after like, an hour and a half.

Even someone semi-formidable like Sam Hyde says that a night in county jail is fucking torture.
In the A/T prison threads there were tons of retard onlookers whining because jails aren't goon hotels with internet and computer games.

Imagine what a living hell it would be for these prissy faggots to actually go there.

I look forward to him becoming the new CEO so his name becomes public record. He shouldn't mind since he said he's willing to go to war for the forumz honor.

He had better hope his shit is squeaky clean, because he’s getting doxxed the instant his name is known, not even just by us. It’ll make my year if he turns out to be another Aatrek style child rapist.

At this point it feels like you could toss out allegations at random at goons and you'd be on target more than half the time.

I decided to check in on Bread and Roses to see how they've managed. Currently there are less than 60 people online (including bots). It's pretty much dead. The admins decision to allow the thread and not hide it like back in December or what happened with Evil Lore and NeoGAF pretty much kept most members on that sinking ship it would seem. Or they all went to Reddit, who knows.

They have taken one page from Lowtax though; asking their members to stop being violent psychopaths on their forums.

Didn't they have a big smugpost over the Lowtax induced diaspora and how their numbers were swelling to previously unimaginable numbers?

Guess a couple weeks of "I'm trans" was enough to shoo away even goons.

Tbh the women's employment rates in the East Bloc was also largely caused by not being able to survive on a single paycheck for even quite small households. At least for the normies, obviously, not the ruling class. My grandmas would've liked to have some more time at home, but that just wasn't possible especially once kids were born.

I bet a lot of people registered over there when reading the Lowtax thread, then when they actually got their accounts approved, realized that the forum was not very good, and never posted or logged in again

Who wouldn't want to constantly walk on eggshells around a bunch of mentally ill dudes?

Especially when they probably know who you actually are IRL because of the "approval" process.

So in other words: Women in East Germany were considered expendable coal for the engine of socialist “progress” and had to work, no matter if they wanted to or not?

Welp, I guess taking away freedom to choose is one way to ensure that people do what you tell them to.

As for the gender gap and birth rates, both are good example of using statistics to... Well, lie.

Wages in East Germany were significantly lower than in West Germany. And naturally, any pay gap would also be smaller.

Did birthrates drop after reunification? Sure they did. Because many young people and families moved away. Birthrates have a tendency of dropping when 18-30 year olds move out.

They wanted any excuse not to have to cancel Lowtax, and the only reason this is happening now is because it became impossible to ignore and too many people offsite were mocking them for it. They're not angry that he did it, they're angry that he let himself get caught.

Which is also very similar to what happened with Aatrek.
They’re not even really angry at lowtax, they’re just sharks in a frenzy because of riots and biden and general gooniness. Jeffrey is either brave or dumb (it’s dumb) because he will be next. The reason goons stay at SA (and hate KF) is they all have shit in their closets and they don’t want it exposed when they cant pass the purity test for entry into the next community. Also why they keep the idea that troons can do no wrong.
Plus they are so insufferable and self absorbed that I doubt they even like each other.

Yeah, when I was in my first year of flight training at Pensacola and my two closest in age siblings were in High School, my folks' next door neighbors were hosting a kid from the former East Germany as an exchange student. He was 17, the same age as my sister who was born in 1980, at the time. When I was down for Easter my folks had them over for a BBQ and my dad and I ended up chatting up this guy for like 4 hours drinking and he was an absolute font of perspective, Having grown up in the Eastern Bloc, and as the son of a police captain in Dresden he really had some amazing shit to say.

His dad had to wear a slightly modified SS uniform for formal functions because the Soviets wanted to truly shame and brow-beat them over WW2. They would make sure the schools, especially where he was in Dresden, would really hammer home to evil Americans and British for bombing their grandparents every day indiscriminately and how they couldn't wait to do it again. How after the wall fell that the schools there kind of just stopped teaching anything but math and grammar for a few years because they didn't want to be involved with anything the least bit political because they had no idea what was going on. How most neo-nazis were just that way because they just hated the Russians and Americans for all kinds of shit, both warranted and not, how girls from lower class families were essentially told "You aren't to be a prostitute but if someone with a Russian accent or nice clothes tells you they want to fuck you in exchange for food or favors, always accept because they can probably have you killed or just rape you and walk away free. How they were always warned of the corruptions of the West while always being able to see how bad the Russians and East German politicians were because they never even tried to hide theirs. He even casually brought up that his parents both helped run a brothel at one point because as a policeman of repute they could justify his mother not working at a local shop or factory while being allowed to freely travel with other women to the Army and Russian barracks'.

He also was amazed at how good Mexican food was. He was 100% shocked that it wasn't the most popular thing in the world. The host mom said "He just really loves Taco bell. I've never seen anyone eat an entire case of tacos alone before him"

Yes, that was the poorly articulated point of my post. Screeching goons who cry about capitalism and somehow weave feminism into it have nothing in common with the true and honest Marxists of the Eastern Bloc. They rejected feminism and tried to enforce gender equality by treating women as the same type of human resource as men, a purely technocratic standpoint steered by their belief in the class struggle. No goon believes in the class struggle, they're just maggots feeding on the rotting carcass of Marx and sometimes pupate and hatch as a troon.

You're wrong about the birth rates and the pay gap being manipulated by statistics though, everything in the GDR was pure and unfiltered shit with terrible consequences except for the women's and family policies.

My main point - again poorly articulated - wasn't the giant drop in 1990, but rather that the family politics actually worked in the first place and increased the number of births, something that West Germany never managed to do and frantically tried to counter with migration. The birth rates of both countries were about the same until the new policies kicked in during the early 1970s. This figure shows it quite nicely.

The pay gap in East Germany was and still is smaller than in West Germany. It is measured and compared as a ratio, not a difference.
