You have to remember that goons have a quite literally religious devotion to their freakish cult wrongthink rituals. A slur is different than an insult in that a slur is when a nazi invokes his badbad wrongthink against them and says vile hatenonowords to attack and hate them and hurt them and make them physically afraid IN THEIR OWN HOME like "man, woman, wife, husband" etc.

An insult is like when you call someone a nazi and tell them to fuck off because they dared to say CNN is kind of left leaning or anti-dRUMPF (it's a slur to say his name). It's very alien to humans I know.

Even if I had a cyberjourney in SA like 1 1/2 decade ago (oh the fun, oh the disturbance, oh the obscenities, oh the fun, oh the... well, SA drove me to ED where I managed to weave an ephemeral nest) and a yearly quick lurking at it since then, I don't know how this thread has 1k+ pages (ok, i've jumped from page ~#30 to page #thenow-10) except from an archivist pov.

I haven't been following the apparent SA's epic saga so I don't know if SA has actually moved on, but from what i've read from its current users, the site's inertia has been impressive, nor its template nor its community of customers, summarized in 1/3 minitrolls, 1/3 jackasses, 1/3 emerging ideolopreachers testing their skills - same kind of knotted behaviours for a decade. "We got it, fuck you (if you're outside of our circle)".

@AnOminous, i praise your dedication, fmpov you could be SA's Mnemosyne, some Guardian of The Temple, providing links and hypothesis to the generationofthenow (OK, this was a little ironic). Still, I don't know if you'd agree: SA is History, it was one of these exceptional cyberplaces were insolence, revolt, obscenities, extreme argumentative experiences could be shared overseas - for the sake of free speech, for the sake of breaking silences, because there was no other place except the internets where one in struggles could expose and discuss his pov, openly. For the sake of History. Clues, testimonies with proves, SA has been part of it for a short while, fmpov - I don't even know if Lowtax, Degrippo or weev were aware of it at that time, but what they were building was terrifying, exciting, providing both nightmaring and resilience - with, sometimes in a bulk, this unforgettable touch of humor that could make one move toward taboos without hurting actual beings. I may idealize this period, but its dynamics may have helped to dismiss fogs and to dig up bones out of cupboards. SA may be completely avoidable now but 15+ years ago it wasn't.

I don't think it should be erased from history or anything. If nothing else, the archives should be preserved. But its days of providing anything other than laughter at its own expense are over a decade dead.

Depends on whether they're classic tankies who are into Stalin and think the Soviet Union was awesome, who believe the Holodomor happened but it should have been even bigger. Also sometimes commies just use it to refer to other commies who are just so batshit crazy they stand out even among commies.

In all fairness SA "correctThink" varies according to the troon mood of the day, as dictated by the side effects of whatever chemicals are currently influencing their messed up brains.
 
Communists love allying with any social group that has a grievance, justified or not, in a country where they are trying to take over. The reason that American conservatives in the mid-20th century were able to delay black civil rights, gay rights, feminism, etc. for a generation by alleging that the largest groups lobbying for those causes were riddled with Moscow-controlled spies was because it was true. Same for the first 50 years of the labor movement in the U.S. - it took the United Auto Workers finally expelling communists in the 30s for unions to go from marginalized to practically a fourth branch of government from the FDR to Nixon eras.

The U.S. did a great job of becoming a much more free and tolerant society over the course of the 40s through 60s, obviously not always in an ideal way, and most of these groups found that they would much rather live in a liberal America than risk what they had achieved in a revolution. It also became much more apparent what was really going on in the Soviet bloc and the notion that it was any kind of paradise for minorities got dispelled among those willing to pay attention.

The same pattern was present in Russia, Germany, China, etc. When the communists actually won the reality of totalitarianism set in. There is no tolerance for any group identity outside of the state, the pursuit of sexual liberation is bourgeois decadence, and all of that stuff about defunding the police and abolishing prisons - well, we won't be having any of that in a regime based on constant surveillance and gulags. There's also just the fundamental fact that Communists, like Nazis, are motivated by psychosexual sadism. Fundamentally they like torturing people and that's why the leaders get into the ideology, with the saps in the followers comprised of useful idiots and true believers like the people who think they will be furry anime appraisers in the new society. In Cuba the Communists re-established slave plantations as a method of sugar production just so they could send gays there and literally work them to death. That's what ultimately happens to these groups in leftist regimes. The fact that the SA people can't see what would happen if they ever won makes them all the more pathetic, but that's what you get when you've totally devoted your life to the goal of blocking out reality.

A lot of them are, at least in terms of being opposed to IdPol, but only because they believe that ideas of gender, racial or sexual struggle are red herrings deployed by (((them))) to distract from the class struggle, the only struggle that matters (Kulaks deserved it).

The Stalinist ones are nationalist, but the Trotskyists and Maoists are internationalists who want a worldwide revolution.
