Back when Scalise got shot you had D&D goons openly wishing — within minutes of the news — that the injuries had been fatal or at least more severe.

Probations with the reason listed solely as “bloodthirst” are becoming increasingly common, I’ve noticed. That punishment type is always a slap on the wrist for posting a completely unfunny and creepy fantasy about the demise of people considered undesirable — whether that undesirability is due to wealth, opinion, political position, age, or those people are simply considered redundant and thus unfit to consume resources. That last one is a favorite among climate/population doomers; they seem to be the biggest sociopaths.

I'm still outraged over Dick Wolf. Law and Order SVU really sucks nowadays. Lieutenant Raped-a-lot isn't even hot anymore, neither is the blonde, Detective Tee-hee. Ice-T's still okay, I guess.
 
Lowtax's zero-tolerance policy regarding threats of political violence is already seeing some retroactive enforcement. The staff are helpfully quoting Lowtax's post as a ban reason, in order to ensure that any consequent ill will is directed solely at the decision maker himself.

Both of these posts are amusing, for different reasons.

First, NecroMonster's post has a lot to unpack. Amid his quiveringly angry word salad about FYAD's thriving community of National Socialists, he confides that unless the enemies of leftism are not permitted to speak, leftism will lose. It is not enough for Something Awful's staff to be on the leftists' side; they must actively deplatform anybody whom the leftists deem an enemy or else their cause is lost. He presents an ultimatum: "Ban anybody whom we say might be a nazi, or else close C-SPAM because the nazis will inevitably defeat us without your direct and constant intervention on our behalf."

His cause cannot weather much debate or discussion, it would appear. I'm reminded of the particularly fanatic sects of Christianity that cannot distinguish between non-sect members and Satanists and denounce any misgivings or dissent as Satanism.

Also, NecroMonster's line about "nazis demanding that leftists inform on each other" is quite fascinating. Nobody in the QCS thread was talking about leftists; everybody was talking about lunatics openly plotting murder and mass destruction in the name of leftism. NecroMonster opposes the idea of punishing (or so much as calling out) his fellow leftists even when they turn to outright political terrorism. Quite the gangster, that one.

As for FactsAreUseless, I like that the concept of "forums enemies" exists at all. If you cannot get on an internet forum without becoming worked up at/holding grudges against other forum users, the forum is clearly not good for you and you need to log off. If only SA's logoff button said "Clicking here makes all your wildest dreams come true" or something similarly motivational; it is good to get an occasional reminder that internet forums are meant for having fun.

Good. So for example, if you buy a custom title for a user and the mods don't apply it since it's not "woke" enough, Lowtax loses $25 every time that happens. I wonder how fast a large number of such transactions would bankrupt him and bring down the site once and for all?

It would cause a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions dozens of morbidly obese bipolar cross-dressers suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced.

The Avatar/Title is automated and automatically applied. There is no SLA on them, only they happen, so if a mod goes through and fixes the profile of some barney that is not a legitimate chargeback, as you got what you paid for.

now if you buy an ad, which IS stated to run for a month and it is removed by mods before that month, then you can charge that back.

Of course the Admins, thanks to previous KiwiOps, are on the alert for ads that link to KF or other sources of wrong think.
So it would sure be a real shame if you bought an innocuous but clicky-baity ad that went to what seems like a mundane site, and after it was approved changed its destination to be a redirect to this thread or Bogan Lay's chat logs or whatever. And then charged back when trannies melt down and the admins inevitably cuck under.

That's the weird thing, though. I paid for new a custom title for myself after some woke idiot gave me a big red text for disagreeing with The Opinion™, and it never showed up, so I did a chargeback. Now my SA account is banned anyway, so I guess it doesn't really matter, but I do like the knowledge that Lowtax's lousy forum mods and their insipid mismanagement of the forums have cost him $25.

Somewhere a mail-order pie is breathing a sigh of relief.

My understanding is that somebody played with the backend code so that banner ads linking to Kiwi Farms never appear in the rotation at all. The charge for purchasing the banner ad still goes through, but the ad gets deleted before it ever has a chance to show up, which is straight-up fraudulent. People have done shit like buy banner ads linking to independently hosted PDFs of Richard's police reports, which show up in the ad rotation until manually deleted by admins -- but if you post an ad with a Kiwi Farms URL, the site just eats your money and you're left with comprehensive documentation that you've been cheated.
