It's fucking 2020 - even fast food joints will pay you during your training/interim period. It's such an incredibly bad stance to take to try and save 40 dollars. Because they have to, by law. If you're there for training you're at a certain place at a certain time for work.

I mean I guess if contractors agreed to work for free that's one thing but it's definitely skirting a line.

Both parts of this are beautiful.

First, ”working class women literally dying from lack of healthcare” as a euphemism for “men with dresses and SSI literally killing themselves because they can’t get their unending cycle of designer surgeries for free.”

Then, “telling people they’re uniquely special — such as because they tried on mom’s panties once — leads to those people disappearing up their own assholes and hating all of society.” Not that they’ll ever realize that; they’ll keep shining the You’re Valid Beam on every stubbled troon selfie, blissfully unaware that they should change out the bulb and make it the Nobody Cares Beam instead.

If a contractor agrees to it, it's technically fine. The point is more that, regardless of laws, if you're trying to attract talent to your dying website - "fast food worker" should not be a better job alternative for your prospective hires. The only people he's going to get from this process are people who just don't know/care all that much and those are not the same people you can build a "brand revival" from.

I love the fact that they spent days and days coming up with parameters, and every time they did and seemed to agree KM or someone would chime in with a "well acktually" about why this or that wouldn't work. Then they would keep whittling away and changing shit. And in reality, those objections were just, as ralp said, to set up NeoFYAD to fail so they could smugly pat each other on the back about killing racism dead forever or something like that.

The probe reason said "Things can and do get better" and listed the suicide hotline. How long until the QCS screed about how mods are evil climate-denying CHUDs?

Oh, and in a followup post he said his wife already locked up his gun because of all his suicide-baiting shit but he's watched youtube videos about how to pick the safe open. I hope to fuck these two don't have any children.

I don't think banning people from your website/discord network because you're afraid of "leaks" is a way to enforce any further accountability or incentive not to leak. It took 3 posts or so to shatter the Goon Discord Network, and as far as I know that only happened because the person who did it was banned off of SA for idling in a forbidden discord server. The GDN saga in of itself is a worthy lorepost -- another epic tale of goon incompetence as they screamed at nazis hiding around every corner causing them to destroy everything they worked to create.

This dumbass probably just watched some lockpicking lawyer stuff and figures he's now an expert safecracker without spending years developing the fine touch you need to work on high quality locks and safes.
