My favorite thing when goons "argue" is that there's always at least one of them who literally cannot fathom a person having a different viewpoint from them, but since they also can't actually argue, they just result in calling the person they disagree with stupid without any elaboration. They'll also be too blinded by impotent rage that they won't actually bother trying to understand dissent, so they'll invariably respond with the absolute dumbest interpretation of straightforward arguments.
i.e.: The guy who came in saying he likes video games and doesn't care what the creator is or thinks, and the people who respond with assuming he's saying he doesn't care because other people care or that he hates a minority group instead, which makes literally zero sense. And then assuming that this person who wouldn't want to talk to them anyway would be bothered that they're not going to talk to them.
Oh, I also enjoy how you can tell when a goon is mad because they stop bothering to capitalize anything in their posts to sound "snarky." i.e.: These knuckleheads who couldn't make it any more obvious that they're seething mad.

Oh man, you can tell a goon is ultra-triggered when they stop using punctuation and capitalization. "the left" and "sjws" are groups with significant overlap, but they aren't necessarily the same people. Even if you disagree with the left politically, to be realistic you have to appreciate that some of them are self-aware enough to realize that the SJW tactics do nothing but self-sabotage the left in the long run.
The key mistake they make, I think, is taking it on faith that diversity is strength. I think it's more accurate to say unity is strength, but that a unified and diverse group will be stronger than a unified monoculture.
The diverse Democratic coalition is only stronger than the Republicans when they are united behind someone like Obama. In other cases, their diversity is a source of conflict that weakens them with infighting. SA's descent into joyless thought policing is a microcosm of how it happens.
