Back in 2012, on 4chan's /vg/ board, someone started a Star Citizen group on the board's Star Citizen general. It was called the Vederation. Long story short, the leader was a weak man who handed over leadership to a backer named "Plaxinov" who turned out to be a notorious furry, and was later found out as a goon.
Later on, he brought in his friends who were also furries and goons. Since goons are notorious for infiltration, anons shitposted about it throughout countless threads. The shitposting was so frequent, that Plaxinov and his friends report bombed entire threads, and even petitioned the mods for some kind of janitor/moderator privleges.
Any anti-vederation and anti-goon posting was promptly deleted, and the thread basically turned into the imageboard equivalent of North Korea. Some anon decided to funpost about it on Reddit, and sure as shit, they took the bait. Nowadays, they don't seem to moderate and/or frequent the thread any longer.

Shit like this leads me to believe that all the "Is Social Media Rotting Our Brains?" takes are about 10-15 yrs too late, and it's actually the internet in general that's the problem. If you were on forums or etc. pre-social media, they were just as brain-rotting.

Today i had a Goon scream at me in mumble for about an hour... somebody leaked some stuff over the past weeks and they lost alot of isk...
Mittlers idiots are getting more and more stupid.

They are at war with another group of low lifes, so they have a pretty juicy undefended underbelly, and somebody is selling information to random groups of raiders who just like to kill afk farmers.
they also have problems with inventory missing and stuff like that.
that goon was thinking i knew something about it. but im just doing logistic for a friend and his merry band of Raiders.
He is some midlevel goon and on the hunt for the leak, im pretty sure they are trying to get somebody to snitch on the info source.
and they are all on the edge because their war is pretty chaotic.

we use mumble, Discord is to widely used. you can spy on people quite a bit on discord, and nobody want the enemy to know when you are most active or have some sort of meeting.

Lol at trying to find a leaker when it's super easy to join Karmafleet or another GSF corp with less than tight recruiting standards. And as if NCPL don't have members with farming alts.

Im not sure if PANFAM has anything but alts. they dont defend anything against the goons.

I mean... Massive titan and super fleet. No reason to throw down against them because you'll just lose your supercaps. Their strategy of denying fights and killing whales in Delve is smart. No burnout on a dumb war and goons get bored.
