I take issue with "They targeted and harassed several posters for the crime of being trans"

1.) Nobody was harassed, people posted some google search results
2.) Are you telling me people like LeftistMuslimObama typing 5,000 word screeds about how they are a black woman and other assorted extremely mentally ill bullshit was no reason to want to fuck with these people? Nigga you can hate people that are trans for reasons other than them being trans. Quit being defensive.

The admins pretty much banned anyone who talked about GG in any but the most anti-GG terms possible, but the reaction wasn't immediate- it happened over the course of almost a year. And then versions of the hellthread came back again and were semi-tolerated for a while. There was actually barely anyone who was pro-GG in the hellthreads, most people thought that everyone was terrible.

Glad to see. A shame we can't have a dialogue forum to forum, and instead it's a bunch of screenshot lobbing. I would've posted in the GBS thread, but my account was inactive for a couple of years, and getting b&4kiwi isn't worth the effort.

What is the point of publishing names that trans people no longer go by if you don't mind me asking? Like it would be fine if you owned up to being a psychopath and were just like "it's fun to drive already marginalized and put upon people to suicide" but with Chole Sagal it was pages of denying this forum had anything to do with it and that you were actually vigilantes with secret hearts of gold. It was very bizarre considering dead-naming means reminding trans people of a life and body they're doing everything to forget they once had.
