Lowtax didn't remove ads until he saw this coming on the rotation today lol

(Edit: I'm mistaken, it's still in the rotation.)

Yessir.

You can't browse all the ads anymore (hmm...) but that doesn't stop it from showing up in the rotation anyway!

Hello, SA Goons and potential posters! Enjoy your stay, however brief it may or may not be.

You have to turn off adblock to view them
Depends on the adblock. Not exactly sure how it works but I think since the banner ads are built into the website, it doesn't automatically block them. That was a point people were consistently complaining about in the thread whining about the offensive ads.

If your trolling plans involve giving Lowtax money, you are the one being trolled.
Dunno, $30/mo on a large website like that is a good deal.

This only shows visitors who don't strip referral information from their browser and don't block analytics. The ad has only been running for 7 hours, getting about 2 clicks per hour and showing an about-average bounce rate and a decent level of user engagement. People who click the ad engage the site in some way.

I've advertised twice before. I ran $20 worth of Facebook ads targeting LGBT users in California with a "maximize exposure" option linking to Trans LifeLine's thread. This received about 14,000 impressions, but the caveat is Facebook only shows each person the ad once. I saw some people complaining about it and it probably did help in some way with what happened with TLL.

I've also ran Google Search Ads for the YandereDev thread on terms about Yandere Simulator, and currently that thread is one of our busiest.

By no means am I a marketing genius, but I am a marketing curious boi and I like to throw money around and see what happens. It's more informative than an actual marketing class.

While still on topic of the newly christened Kiwifarms SA ad, this is the thread to monitor for responses. It's meant for the ads people too dense to use adblock would see, but people have also been using it to whine about the banner ads as well.

(Also reading this post reminded me how dated and grating Lowtax's sense of humor is...)

Aww, they're already talking about us! How sweet.

I'm pretty sure Lowtax exiled himself from the here for being outed as a deceptive, technologically incompetent sleazebag, so good luck with him both A) posting here asking for us to stop and B) us listening. Or actually just C) doing anything in general.

I doubt he'd post here again considering how much shit he ate at home for it.

You can always browse all the ads. Various adblockers and other anti-annoyance software makes the page go blank for whatever reason. You can still use the save page button to get the unmolested version, though. If you don't want to do that, just open the adlist address in IE or Edge, which has no such built in blockers by default.

Oooh, that's what @Aquinas meant. Okay, thanks for clearing it up.

if they rely on Lowtax doing regular ad filtering, then they're fucked. They're lucky he responded inside of 2 months. I also don't think he'll hand that over to one of his unpaid janitors. It's about his money.

It's all a matter of throwing the offensive/problematic/kiwi ad up in the right interval. Not often enough that lowtax figures out that he can make easy money by quickly removing them but often enough that they are a nuisance and trigger goons, but still aren't worth Lowtax' effort to consistently remove them quickly. (Because if there's two things Lowtax doesn't like it's work and looking at SA) Goons don't visit any other social media side besides the SJW corners of twitter and the open source alternatives, they're even proud of that fact, so an ad thrown up regular enough will stay in their memories.

Lowtax is spineless and stupid, he'll do whatever his admins say if they reeeeee hard enough. They've been ruining his only source of income for more than a decade, he isn't going to suddenly reign them in. The last time he tried he got run off his own forums along with his wife.

its been over a year now, i remember they hated the shmorky thread and the doxxxing happened, sadly the farms went down. But I remember him liking the shorky thread why did the goons hate it soo much.

Hell I think for awhile you werent suppose to say the name of the farms and the mods flat out denied the doxxing ever happened

They hated it because Lowtax specifically linked the KF thread on SA and said something to the effect of "Hey, these guys over here are having fun with this and having a good time. Do we remember what having a good time is like?" and then they unloaded on him to show that in fact, they did not know how to have a good time.

Why are they such fags now

Twenty years of focusing entirely on removing their userbase. SA had amazing momentum and it's population exploded <2010 so it has taken this long to finally rot. It's boiled down to a majority fag population while the mods octuple down on trying to delete anyone and anything anyone finds objectionable. Hardly any reasonable people or content creators are left. Most of those have suffered multiple attempts to drive them off and pay ridiculous amounts of money to have normal opinions.

That was the issue with the banners. It wasn't about how easy they could be blocked. It was that they existed in the first place. There is a nonstop wail on SA to purge posters and content from existence. If someone speaks positively of Donald Trump in any way, even an objectively correct one, they are ran off. Anyone pointing out those pictures of the CHILD CONCENTRATION CAMPS were from Obama's term? Banned. People get banned for posting raw statistics if the mod doesn't like the result. It never ends they just had enough people to hide the problem until recently.

Maybe some of the people following the banner ad are the type that can deal with this forum where you might not agree with everything on it but also aren't broke brained enough to melt down because of it. At least the hyperwokes will stay on SA since the forum is killing itself to cater to their infinite outrage.

Even before all that shit started they were terrible at retaining members. I started an account there a bit too late. I spoke some forbidden words or whatever, and was treated like shit by a bunch of the posters over what normal people wouldn't take fits about. I think I probably eventually got banned for a post made in the LP subforum, of all things. I forget why, but it was more pointless BS and after having seen the direction the site has gone in, I can only be glad it happened. What I mean to say is that even back then, by my own observation, the sign that the insane posters were the ones running the show was clear. What we're seeing today is only the result of people like me not being there anymore in anywhere as much of a ratio as we used to, along with a conversion of the weaker, more mentally ill posters into troons and other horrors.

Just a friendly reminder to whoever the SoSe autist who bought all the 'FAGGOT' banners is ; you were entitled to a full month in rotation. You can chargeback the fee.

There are a lot more people on SA who read here than join here. Whenever GBS is under threat of permanent closure, KF is one of the main places outside the SA discords (which the admins really, really hate because they have no control over them) which people plan to use as a bumper board. The hyperwokes are disproportionately loud.

The admins not only couldn't care if the non-wokes left, they'd probably prefer it if the whole of SA operated under BYOB rules. The only person who really cares about the number of members is Lowtax himself, and that's only because his income is tied to SA activity.

Dunno, $30/mo on a dead gay forum like that is a good deal.

Fix'd. Also I'd lump that $30 into the "Trigger The Troons" sort of subsubscription.
That ad is definitely making fat men in dresses consume more than $30 of antidepressants, I'd call it a win.
