Looking at his solo stream really makes me appreciate how needed the straight man in comedic productions is (like buddy cop comedies). Lowtax is just shouting zany phrases into empty space and waiting for a nonexistent crowd to react to it. Ironically he's making every mistake the retsupurae people would make fun of videos for.
 
Remember, SA Goons not only wrote fanfiction about the Get Out frog, they then drew comics based on it, then tried to turn those comics into a fighting game.

Thus making Pepe only the second-most autistic internet frog of the 21st century.

I tried to find a screenshot of either the comic or the game, but they seem to have been eaten by Waffleimages, because Goons can't run an image hosting service either.

If it's any help, that was the E/N Comics thread, the frog was Dr. E.N. (Ian) Gibbs, and the game was a sprite based Divekick ripoff called "Drama Sweep" that was never finished.

The thread just kinda ran out of steam because the goon drawing 90% of the comics claimed to have fucked up his drawing hand in an accident. His name was Mjaulm if I remember right.
 
Tacking onto the list of "former goons that Lowtax failed to make a profit off of", along with Mega64, Yahtzee, etc, toss Chapo Trap House on the list, Felix Biedermann is a long-time goon, and I think the rest of them had accounts at one point too.

iirc Felix left for Twitter around the same time most of FYAD made the exodus from FYAD to Weird Twitter.

I laughed. And nobody's doing high-effort dramatic readings of it complete with multiple voice actors and sound effects like the goons were with the frogfiction, so I think we're doing fine.
