I missed a bunch of the mod feedback thread, but isn’t prester jones the guy they tapped to mod D&D explicitly because he’s a mentally ill lefty? I check out of that thread whenever people start whining about Trump/gamergate/haram subject du jour threads getting more attention than themselves.

It's Prester Jane now btw. I didn't know they modded him, he does actually contribute quite a bit in D&D and despite being crazy dude is pretty knowledgeable about certain things. Ever since he troon'd out though he's def went downhill from what I could see.

Party Plane Jones is a different guy I think. But yeah Prester Jane (renamed from Prester John; a schizoid tranny, how surprising btw) is a complete nutcase who writes walls of text about how religious American conservatives are the newest incarnation of the Nazi party and are constantly a week away from overthrowing the government and establishing Gilead. They read exactly what you'd expect a schizophrenic rambling would, and he would have been rightfully banned if it was right wing schizo crap but the mods don't do shit because the stuff he writes provides an ideological framework for D&D posters to instantly write off everyone to the right of them. At multiple points he's also claimed he was one of the key people behind Chanology.
 
prester john was a good poster once upon a time. He had interesting threads about working at cedar rabbids in MI, and about his time in one of america s greatest homeless camps in texas.

The man can write well and has more self awareness than 10 lolcows. Years ago he started a thread about what he calls "authoritarians" in D&D and I honestly enjoy the take of a schizo former cult member trying to explain the deal with with religious nut jobs. Slowly though the thread morphed he came out as trans had a very nice and reserved melt down over trump if I recall when trump won he said something like "I am gonna take a step back from this project and go play video games" A trooned out schizo handles himself with more politeness than FAU and the woke crew.

Hell he got misgendered in the portland gbs thread and there was no probation.
 
I confused Prester John/Jane and "Party Plane Jones" and I stand by my original assumption that the crybaby sluts in QQCS tantrumed until they got what they wanted: another far left D&D mod to punish people who post wrong. That decoding authoritarians OP was pretty good.

I see where you're coming from, but in addition to the points others have made about his shitty mod lackies, you can only say that about Lowtax now that he's all but abandoned his own forums. He used to be more of a "force" on the forum.
The only real issue with Lowtax being Lowtax on the forum is he's a bully - he can dish it out, but sure as shit can't take it. And he really can't dish it out anymore all that much.

This comes after multiple recent permabans, some of which were given out for no actual reason other than who the poster was. They've banned about 1% of the forum in the past week.

Traffic plummeting around the time they got rid of the catlady tumblrina reign really stuck with Lowtax and it's been used to justify shit like this before. They think nobody wants to come to SA because of how bad the posters are and their interpretation of bad is anyone to the right of Marx.

If SA doesn't change ownership it's not going to last much longer. Lowtax is a huge parasitic liability and the forums might be operating in the green for years to come but as Lowtax makes less and less money he is going to get increasingly more desperate and start doing dumb shit like tonight's mass ban wave to try to make the site more appealing.

Who knows what will happen when he has to get a real job. After a week or two as a cashier or temporary worker he will probably dramatically try and rebrand the site to escape his new reality and kill it altogether.

A lot of them will come back though. Anyone still participating there is a diehard weirdo who doesn't mind paying 10bux to get shit on. The problem for LowT is that there just isn't enough of them to be sustainable in the long term.

I dunno, I know quite a few people that have said if they ate a ban they weren't coming back. I know that applies in my case.
 
How pathetic must it be to be a thought police mod. I know the smug satisfaction from writing up those cringeworthy ban reasons has to be a good feeling for these people, but they must feel so empty afterwards. The job is never done, how do you know if some shitlord might register tomorrow and say badwrongfacts?

Still, I don't feel sorry for them. I love seeing assholes like that exposed for the shitheads they are. What is this guy's dirty secret? I'm going with member of racist harassment gang.
 
I only ate a probation and it was enough for me to realize that place was stupid now.

Also lots of people are autobanning, some names I even recognize.

Isn’t evilweasel Zack Parsons? That guy used to be one of the best front page writers. He also got the Trump Derangement bug bad. If all that won’t protect you on FAU’s forums then I don’t know what will.
