If you look at his twitter, he doesn’t care about subscribers, but only whether he’s having fun. I like having fun, but know that stuff like food costs money and therefore I need a job that isn’t much fun. But lowtax seems to think he should always have fun no matter what and his army of plebs can do the work and support him.
I guess it’s working to some extent because morons keep donating money.

On the topic of his loss of subscribers, the reason for him losing subscribers is very obvious. Lowtax's Youtube channel used to consist of prerecorded videos which were properly edited with no dead space. Given the nature of streaming, you obviously can't do this, so streamed videos are a completely different, often lower quality. That isn't to say a channel dedicated to streaming or a cross between streaming and edited videos can't be successful, though.

However, Lowtax's channel was exclusively prerecorded videos before he started just constantly streaming without ever posting prerecorded videos again, so this was an unwelcome change of pace for his subscribers. He had a very promising idea which ironically other channels are now successful having done, which is playing obscure, crappy games to laugh at. However, he started streaming random games which he didn't screen beforehand for being uninteresting, with the streams having a lot of moments of just dead silence. The more he streamed, the more his subscribers unsubscribe because that isn't what they subscribed in the first place for.

Lowtax, being the slackjawed idiot he is, looks at this in utter bewilderment and believes that this is just a bizarre coincidence rather than a telling sign.
 
There are now multiple threads about how to increase SA's income. They're full of the same suggestions that have been made dozens of times before and not acted on. There's not even a poll to gauge which changes users would tolerate and which would be rejected by members.
 
The site is going to limp on until it dies. Lowtax is a massive faggot who doesn't care at all and wants to do the minimal amount of work possible. He doesn't care about losing subs because he would have to work to keep them. It's easier to stream some random game and then put the video up there.

It's so funny how many times he just ignores and let's easy money pass him by. SA's name is worth dogshit now because being a goon is seen as being an overly sensitive faggot who can't dish anything out so they have to hide behind their 10 buck paywall.
 
Here is whats weird he has a fucking LLC just do some fucking rent farming let a company with real people who know their shit buy a 80% stake in the LLC they pay the tax man rent he has an editor and makes two articles every month a boom he is good.

I bet the website made a ton of money over the last 20 years he could get a fucking internet retirement and maybe to be a better father he should just divorce the canadian woman get a real job like a bullshit job and yeah running a web 1.0 era buisness for 20 years can totally be a asset with the right spin.

I don't think SA is a property anyone would want at this point. Even if someone did think they could turn it around, Lowtax would only licence it to someone if they could convince him that doing so would earn him substantially more income than he gets from SA now. They'd also want a substantial return on their own investment, so SA's income would have to increase dramatically and I just can't see that happening.
 
The forums are nearly dead, killed by lowtax’s laziness, apathy, stubbornness and blind trust in the shittiest goons he turned mod/admin. If he got rid of his woke crew and let the forums return to what they were before it might fare better. It’s obvious the woke crew has $0 and will never contribute to the upkeep of the forums.

What do you have to lose, Lowtax? Those posters already hate you and don’t contribute to the forums anyway.
 
Provided Lowtax doesn't do something retarded like monthly subs, SA will limp along through sheer inertia for another 20 years before income drops to the point it isn't paying for itself. If lowtax's lifestyle hasn't killed him by then... dunno man.

Lowtax is basically Brianna Wu, and the forums are his Frank. The forums give him a bunch of money, and in return he provides a shitty blue apron meal in the form of new features. Forum members are content to throw money at lowtax while he indulges in $100k cars and doing nothing but making crappy YouTube videos in return. Both come from privileged backgrounds and have an aversion to doing any real work, letting frank/the forums do that instead, while complaining that someone else (gamergate/radium) fucked them over for life.

Lowtax says that it takes 11 days to pay bandwith, and he also says bandwith costs him $3400 a month. So that means the forums gross him $112,200 a year. Even if he spends %75 of that on operating costs, health insurance, child support and taxes that leaves him with $28,050 a year. Twenty eight thousand a year for fiddly fucking around on a website a few hours a week isn't anything to sneeze at! And if him and Ashli both got some shit part time McJob that netted them both $12k a year, that'll give them $52 grand a year, which would put them comfortably middle class in Bumblefuck, MO. And about Ashli, you know when they got married LowT thought he was getting some cute lil dum dum that'll cook and clean and give him footjobs, instead he got a $7,000 panic attack!

And this thing with his mom, I bet if you asked him the name of the drug or what hospital she's getting treatment at, LowT would get all huffy and act like you're the asshole for being nosy, even though he's the one that brought it up in the first place!
