It's actually a form of protest.

It's an offshoot of the impish and irreverent posting of Lowtax and should have also stayed in the Bush Administration. However this is SA we are talking about and the people that grew up on extremely ironic posting are now middle aged and don't realize how they sound.

The gimmick is to concern troll ultra ironically over an infinite amount of posts to threadshit. It makes it impossible to read a thread when some 40 year old fag is going

It's kinda sad too. There was a point in time where FYAD was funny, now they're the same unfunny gimmicks as the rest of SA.

Of all of the forums to fall, FYAD probably fell the hardest when the actual funny posters moved to Twitter and all that was left was the rejects.

tbh twiier is a better platform for FYAD style shitting. The funny goons realized they could trigger so many more people with even less effort

Oh, I agree. What I meant was that the current state of FYAD is pretty sad because it's the hangers-on who ate shit from better posters for years are the only ones left. Literally anyone left in FYAD is pretty much a FYAD reject from 8 years ago who lacked the self-awareness to be driven out when the good FYAD posters tried to drive them out.

Compared to the vast majority of Twitter which is just whining, self-pity, or hot takes about the newest capeshit movie, yeah it is.

dril adapted best to the format of Twitter, better understanding how to spout hostile surreal messages than any of his imitators.

Though dril's time is passing fast, in my opinion. As this forum shows, much of the truly great content is generated by people who aren't trying to outdo themselves. They just naturally exude terribleness.
 
Deep thoughts by Jack Handey was a good SNL skit but there’s a reason it ended and a reason you never got more than a couple an episode. Some of the weird twitter and SA dudes haven’t realized this yet
 
It's too long and boring to post snippets of but someone found out that a poster recorded that Koala's March scammed people in the Saclopedia so there was a blowup in QQCS with everyone being called fragile whites and racists and the admins made sure to remove the accusation of her scamming.

The story is being retold that she is a valiant charity organizer that has helped countless minorities. You are racist if you mention what actually happened.
 
Wait which one was the charity scam? I remember her fundraising for a car and a gaming rig but as far as I remember she was fairly upfront about them being "fuck you give me money" things.

She initially posted that the forums would be coming together to help any minority in need and that people should donate money to be given out to those that asked for it based on need. Then she made her own post about how poor she was and took all the money. She later posted about the A/V equipment she bought for herself before closing everything down and trying to delete all memory of it. It was a scam because she had a thread full of people saying they were too poor to eat drawing in sympathy bucks but then bought herself boom mics to shoot videos with and deleted everything once she was paid.

It wasn't until later she tried to turn it into a more transparent patreon/general fund that was less of a scam due to the criticism she was getting. The people telling the story now are portraying her as a valiant charity organizer and are glossing over her stealing from people who raised money with their terrible life stories that she gave to herself.

It was supposed to be a general fund people could donate to that she would manage. The idea was the money would be used to help vulnerable people or some shit like that and people could state their case why they needed some gibs. There would be zero oversight and of course she had a post ready to go on why she needed some help.

Some people got wind of the thread and there was a gbs thread making fun of it and a bunch of concern troll posts. She decided to close the thread shortly after.
