After the blow up when Lowtax said you could say faggot, tranny and retard and a bunch of mods quit the rules seem to have stabilized again to be NEOGAF/ResetERA level with the exception that you can still say retard in GBS. Everything else is transphobic/homophobic/ableist/racist.

The only way stuff sneaks through unpunished is that the current moderators aren't putting in enough time to completely ruin the entire website so you have sporadic thought policing over different portions of the forums at different times of day.

That fag has nothing else going on in his life. The next time he throws a shitfit over "problematic" behavior and threatens to leave, Lowtax should call his bluff. Worst case scenario, Lowtax can just find some autistic tranny with minimal coding abilities to transfer the forums to a new platform help the site coast into its inevitable death.

Lowtax has been very publicly cucked off his own forums by ZDR a few times. I don't think there is any reason to expect that at some point Lowtax will suddenly gain some dignity and get rid of the guy. It's obvious the free code work he does for SA gives him enough leverage to publicly humiliate Lowtax who is usually a notorious thin skinned baby.

I'm sure any other normal person could easily replace ZDR from a pool of thousands of people eager to work for free but this is Lowtax we are talking about. He wants to avoid doing anything, at all. Bending over and passively letting his volunteer workers make him repeatedly look like a bitch in public is easier than expending some effort in replacing them. So ZDR will be an administrator as long as he personally wants to be and will be allowed to do whatever he wants in that time.

That's not true. They fixed the biggest problem, which was Mods couldn't upload sassy black women gifs into their punishment reasons in the LC.

Well only ZDR knows what he is actually doing. Lowtax has the double feature of not knowing anything technical and not wanting to do any work. Even if he understood coding I doubt he would want to expend the effort to actually check ZDR's work. When ZDR took over Lowtax was posting chat logs to prove to everyone how the shitty forums were Radium's fault and it was plainly obvious Lowtax didn't even care enough to figure out what was even happening. He spent years getting repeatedly blown off by a guy that was speaking nonsense at him to get him to fuck off and things only changed when Radium quit.

The only thing I've ever seen about ZDR's actual work was when he first took over the job and started posting in Lowtax's "Hey everyone it's Radium's Fault!!!" thread.

He ripped out whole chunks of the forums code to make up for the fact that he fucked up the planning for how much stress the main DB server would need to handle so badly instead of just going "well that didn't work out, let's replace this and try again" after Lowtax assured him multiple times that he could buy whatever hardware he needed. That's why upgrading the base vBulletin became impossible after a while.

Supposedly the work he is doing wouldn't be visible and was untangling the special moon language Radium devised behind the scenes.

The hilarity of the situation got ZDR a lot of goodwill as more attention was drawn to the horrific state of the forums and it wasn't until later that he turned out to be a shrill shrieking fag that repeatedly throws tantrums and threatens to quit whenever things get too problematic.

It's entirely possible he gave up or never really did much of anything beyond earning Lowtax's trust and nobody would know the difference because Lowtax only knows 20 year old shit like HTML and cascading style sheets and is too lazy to ever check in the first place. The thread where ZDR is recounting his difficulties and is talking about pushing out new features and dev environments is two years old at this point.
