To be fair, If I posted there I would be mocking him too since ZDR/FAU both joined in on publicly supporting FYAD, power cucking him off his own forums yet again.

Havent been here for a few months and my old username no longer works. Oh well.

Anyway this has been some great forums drama, and I love me some SA drama when Lowtax has a meltdown. Lets see how far he takes this pr if he will be a pussy for his admins.
 
Looks like lowtax is going to make gbs his new Twitter. He said he won’t delete fyad and he just got angry. His code monkey must have threatened to quit again.

Lowtax, I know how tough it is to run a webforum. I haven't done it as long as you, but I've seen my fair share of insults, attacks from users who can never be satisfied, etc. I can see why you'd want to pack it in.

But SA has been a part of the web for over 15 years, and we'd hate to see it go. That's why I am willing, right now, to cut you a check for $500, which is 500% more than I paid for SS--a fair valuation I think--to buy the site from you.

I understand you might have to give some of that to crazy yellow for child support, and of course Ashli will want some, but how you divide it is your business. I'll even let you keep updating the front page, and throw in a free account on Something Sensitive. Just let me now, and it can all be over soon.

lol no. Lowtax is a pussy and all his admins and codemonekys have to do is threaten to quit and he'll go back into his hole. SA is beyond redemption at this point, everyone funny and interesting is gone and won't come back to that shithole. Most people mock SA nowadays and anyone who shit-posts has moved on and will never go there. The only real presence goons have outside of the forum is EVE online. That's really about it, and even then its basically a separate culture.

Lowtax should just sell SA to FYAD. They pretty much control it anyway.
 
So, how long do we give it before SA goes completely? From what I've seen, they're bleeding users and have been for a long time. I presume some server downsizing might be on the cards at some point, if they no longer need as much capacity.

People have been predicting it's demise for over a decade. Despite Lowtax saying that revenue is massively down, it obviously still provides enough of a passive income stream that Lowtax isn't willing to give it up and go get a real job.

He's crazy if he thinks that spending a big whack of money on new forum software is going to attract new users, but he's never made sound business decisions. If he needs to downsize, he'll probably just get rid of archives. I'm not sure anyone reads them these days anyway.

He has volunteer employees and there will always be someone ready to take a fallen mods place. He doesn't make much on the place any more but it's enough that he won't close it. He's also got $700 a month coming from patreon which probably goes far in nowhere Missouri and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets some sort of government assistance for his kids.

The forum migration to xenforo won't happen as he's already spent the money he raised for it and he thinks the developers are going to spend months moving his current shit heap to xenforo 2 for $10k or some trivial amount.
