I've mentioned this before, but genesplicer once gave out a probation to someone for using the term "blacks". I then looked up an essay by a black academic that I liked, who used the term "blacks" twice and cited an article from another black academic who used it in the quote. (Link: http://nonsite.org/editorial/splendors-and-miseries-of-the-antiracist-left-2 )

It's not fucking racist- this is *exactly* the kind of attitude that the movie Get Out was making fun of.

This post should be framed and hung in a museum. It's like everything wrong with SA in one totally-not-projecting package.

If someone could just go ahead and check if Lowtax is caught up in that massive Equifax leak and post that shit here

Unfortunately his timeline for today consisted entirely of political sperging and more stupid half-jokes. He's really doubling down on the political angle.

Lowtax white-knighting Bernie Sanders on twitter I guess he's going full socialist now that the money is drying up? (sorry about the blurry text):

Lowtax complains about the cost of games and micro-transactions:

More anti-Hillary Clinton stuff:

Lowtax completes the checklist for being a leftist retard by retweeting pro-Antifa bullshit:

Support Something Awful by buying a pixel art sticker of a meme that nobody has thought about for more than six years or a shirt with "RAP" written on it that costs $26.66 USD). He's also selling towels with the 10bux icon on it for about thirty dollars and a truly hideous iPhone case for about twenty dollars (and other shirts I didn't screenshot):

At least he's making an effort to make some money.

Edit: Sorry to the mod that had to move this post. I was reading a bunch of threads in different tabs and put it in the wrong one.

Lowtax proves my theory that socialists are almost always failed capitalists who are too lazy or prideful to reassess their own mistakes and short comings

Ironically Lowtax could make twice as much money by shitcanning FAU and the other shitty moderators and trying to turn SA back into a place that's actually funny (I'm one of the few people who don't think this is a COMPLETELY impossible task yet) than by selling shitty merchandise of decade-old memes and SA in-jokes.

But what do I know?

I hated FAU but remember ZDR works for free or maybe the SS crews conspiracy theory that SA was a target to swing the election.

But really rich is retarded he's lived so lonely where money just came in with out him haVing to work that of course he latches on to 3rd party merchandise providers since it's just clicking buttons on a computer screen = money

I'm glad he's selling shit third party, to be honest. Means it will actually go out. Now the quality of his designs on the other hand, kind of lacking. Shame about the lack of old, jersey styled, CNST shirts too, though I know why he can't get them done.

I was a huge SA and Lowtax fan back in the day so I tried to listen to his podcast. He had just appeared on Dick Masterson's podcast to promote it which is how I knew about it.

Unlistenable. I don't know who the co-host is/was, but he mentioned maybe three times in the first 20 minutes of rambling that he didn't like Dick Masterson because of his awful views on women. (Dick Masterson is a pretend Web 1.0 internet character played by a comedian. The gag is he hates women and says outrageous, misogynist things. It's satire. I assumed any co-host on a Web 1.0 comedy podcast would know that.)
Lowtax defended Dick but had to mention at least twice that he "[didn't] agree with his politics." Podcast comedy gold: two liberals making sure everyone knows what good liberals they are.

With disappointment I deleted all the episodes I had banked. I knew the site and the forums are irredeemable shit, but I was excited about the podcast *sigh*

Why does SA suck the tranny train troon dick so hard you would think they would want to mock them

It's a weird culture due to the age of Something Awful.

I had typed a huge word wall but then I realized it's an internet forum and nobody cares about the history of it that much.

TL : DR more than a decade of extreme thought policing, leading to more than ten thousand banned accounts, has shrunk the remaining community making it easier for the even more extreme thought police that are there now to dictate the discussion rather than actually just moderate it.

Something Awful Forums is no longer a representation of the community that posted there and is instead what roughly a half dozen extremely liberal social justice warrior / tumblrina / male feminists that have power there think a forum should be.

Even mentioning their decisions is a bannable offense so it's mostly just behind the scenes shit that isn't easily noticeable on the surface, like FAU and Exmarx punishing people for suggesting Hillary would lose before the election in 2016 for fear mongering. That and hundreds of situations like it has led to hyper woke SA where you can't make problematic jokes anymore.

Ah, his podcast "Murder the Internet"? It's a complete slog to get through and I have no idea how it's receiving any positive feedback at all. Him and Jonathan generally spend the entire 40+ minutes just kind of rambling improv at each other with no real theme or foundation; it has no substance whatsoever and each episode is basically the same thing at this point. It didn't help that when he first started doing them he just like machinegunned episodes out with no consistent upload schedule. Most successful podcasts might upload an episode every Thursday or something but Lowtax oversaturates any and all interest by putting like two or more out in a week.

I listened to the first couple episodes but eventually I just couldn't keep going, they were little more than just noise with comedic undertones.
