The Internet makes you stupid glad that a dude who paid a tranny to shit on a glass topped table over his face is now dead.
... and that doesn't even rate in the top ten of deviant, scummy, or repellant things he did in his lifetime.

If only Lowtax could've paid more attention to his Goldbelly purchases. SA Dubai Chocolate could've taken the world by storm,

For the veterans SoA netziens on this thread: How was it back then?, when the forum & internet at large where a wild west of freedom at large?
SA was very Web 1.0. Most of the sections had their own subforum culture and there were many places where people would only post in that one subforum or even just one or two threads and nowhere else.

I liked the Photoshop Phridays and the occasional Martin Random story and that was it. I despised Lowtax and his wacky and zany LOL GRANDMA bullshit. I hated the Jeff K and Cliff Yablonski stories, I thought Zack Parsons was an unfunny fat hack and I’m glad his serious attempt at a writing career failed. But I got a lot of great advice from the Business, Finance, and Careers section that was worth its weight in gold when I first got my real career job, which pushed me to focus on saving and investing instead of blowing paychecks on dumb shit.

I wouldn’t say it had absolute freedom and the cracks began to show around 2005-2006. Of course, this was when sites like YouTube, YTMND, etc. were growing and SA wasn’t the only place internet nerds could be creative. I think from 1999-2004 it was probably one of the more popular sites for nerds to hang out and (try to) be funny. But it was never going to last. Richard could’ve and should’ve cashed out in the mid-2000s but he was convinced the site was always going to get bigger. Him selling the forum off for a few bitcoin so he can get out of paying MapleWife alimony was so stupid and yet a perfect way for Poor Richard to go out.

Back in the early 2000s on SA and the internet in general you could call a nigger a nigger and a fag a fag and your boss and Wells Fargo never even had to hear about it

This guy changed his name from SolarNativity to brag about how much joy he takes from watching snuff.
The only reason SA bans for "bloodlust" is because they know that goons lack the self-control to not fedpost and thus, put the site at risk from those who want to shut it down. They can bitch and moan all they want; but if they were allowed to post what they actually thought, someone could easily take the posts to the host provider and say "hey, you're running a terrorist website".
