The only legitimately funny thing on SA in the last decade or so was when everyone was making fun of the ridiculous claims that Thedarkid made about being a PMC and fighting off Russian neo-Nazis.

To be fair, a lot of the crazier things he said were in his private discord- I read a bunch of his text LPs and all I think I heard of it was that he claimed he was in the military. On the other hand, the fake crayon drawings by "his son" were in one of the LPs (Drakengard III, maybe?) and no one called him on that at the time.

The meat-human behind thedarkid did not. He spun a tale about having lethal cancer and online persona known as thedarkid "died". I believe he is still using the account that pretends to have been his HS friend, a 10/10 japanese quirky tomboy qt who totally had a massive crush on the super study and chivalrous TDI, but he was too much of gentleman to recognize it.

I'm waiting till around 2030 when he comes back with some bullshit about needing to fake his own death to throw off the Russian assassins that were hunting him until his French hired killer waifu could exfiltrate herself from Ukraine and kill them.
 
So over 20 years ago I got a gmail account from the SA thread.

This lead to a fucking weird chain email for chirstmas called happy holidays buttholes or something like that.

I just got an update in that chain email from a goon saying

"the last time I logged into SA I was a dude. Weird how things work out"

I don't remember anyone taking Peeler at more than face value. Of course he was a cult of personality who cut into Rich's glazing so he had to go. There were so many weird people that it seemed plausible at the time. I wish I could remember that freak who was just this boring dude (SH/SC performative I think) who got introduced to BME and next thing you know he was posting pictures of himself being hung by hooks somewhere. That was my first introduction to "The Internet Will Fuck You Up", before trannies became the Soup du Jour for the next couple of decades.
