This reminded me of another godawful-looking goon game, "The Demon Rush", featuring characters such as Cherry Venus, Knight, and Brooks Cracktackle (goldmine thread).




The crazy thing is that, almost 20 years later, the guy who made it has kept going, and there's a Demon Rush game (still looking godawful) on Steam and PlayStation 4.
