That was Eleanor Jefferson, user name Eggplant Wizard, who was a something awful moderator while also working in the Classics Department of Rutgers University. She wrote rape & incest fiction published on Amazon and other places under the pen name Kali Lowe.

I'm pretty sure she lost all the money she made because they were doing shady shit on the Kindle stuff. Basically the ebook equivalent of a group of people just setting their phone on silent and looping it 24/7 for cash.
