His forum collapsing in this catastrophe is kind of a saved-by-the-bell thing for him. All the time and energy it takes for him to not work on fixing his forum is the perfect excuse for why he's not finishing his high-larious satire article on Notch.

yeah no, it still is a source of income for him and he doesn't want it to fail. He's just not making very good decisions with it.

As an aside, regardless of your opinion on Derek Smart and his point of views, the Star Citizen story is honestly an interesting one and he's one of the few people capable of parsing all that insanity and I would sincerely LOVE if he brought that all here.
