my theory has been that they use the forums as a way to hide in plain sight. at least one of the posters there was state department and used the forums to communicate with activists back in the 2019 HK riots.

If you get a check from the CIA and they attach conditions, that's much safer. Because you at least know what the conditions are.

Piggins getting his "no restrictions" check just means the CIA has conditions on those funds, and you won't know what they are until later when they want to tighten the screws.
 
There was a whole pinned thread in I think a subsection of the business forum about State Dept goons recruiting new goons and offering guidance, resume reviews, getting through USAJobs HR/filtering system, outright referrals. More wild than the Doobie's Doghouse saga which is what I actually came here to post about, not an update just that I remembered it happened and irl lol'd.

Curious, are there any archives of hell dump? I'm sure admins have long since scrubbed it from the SA archives but did anyone use wayback machine or screenshot it? I've always been curious what those threads were like.

Hell dump was part of the SA archives when I had an account.

They called me out and banned me. it was called garbage day

IMO it was good because it allow the cycling of infighting much like the toxxx clause that jeff stopped in DnD because it would soon gut the forum. It was a put up or shut up place.

if you have an account plus archives just go back to the late 00s and look at it
