From what I can tell, most of the leaders of the great troonish Bread and Roses uprising, including Barney the Dinosaur, eventually slinked back to Something Awful with their tails between their legs.

Its funny because I remember quite a few of their posters being members of the Chicago Democratic Socialists of America. A lot of dumb trannies with deep connections to local Chicago politics. Those politics are their bed and butter. They also run shitty, smaller podcasts, and those have tons of drama too because its all around twitter shit.
Basically, leftards (especially SA ones) in the US mediate their politics based on what they say on twitter. That's why its so easy to track them.

It's also amazing that they chose specifically that Maoist Third-Worldist wank as peddled by J. Sakai's totally not-written-by-feds book, Settlers as their ideology of choice when it's at best, utterly unworkable to their own goals and at worst, actively counterproductive in anything except increased racial divisions and idpol wonk. It's like they intentionally chose to be the biggest possible losers in every manner possible.

the funny thing about groverhaus was that no PE would sign off on his plans so he took the PE exam and became a licensed engineer just so he could self-certify.

According to Similarweb, SomethingAwful.com had around 243,000 unique visitors average per month over the last three months. This average is continuously dropping. It seems like the user base halves every one to two years. By the time we hit 2030 I predict it will be a ghost town with maybe 20,000 monthly users on average.

edit: it's actually 243,000 unique vistors for the last month. Somethings wrong with the count on the 3 month interval.

Jeffo never begged for money. He never needed to, SA when Jeffo took it over was making 3x its operating budget from forum purchases. He cut off the revenue stream from ads - both external and internal - because too many people were using ads to troll trannies and niggers and several thousand dollars a year didn't matter that much to him.

I've heard, but have seen no source on, he's a crypto millionaire who made good and got out, and bought himself some e-peen.
 
I wish they would fix the front page or hire a satirical writer. Before I knew that lowtax was a wife beater I enjoyed reading the stuff he wrote for the front page.

I bet it’d be easy to pick back up the relatively talented/interesting/passingly literate ones like Dennis Farrell or Jedidiah or David Dolan. Failing that, maybe just scoop up some of the hundreds of cast-offs from sites that are falling like flies; there’s some old busted Cracked.com and CollegeHumor writers that will accept the standing offer of $0.03 per word.
