Let's Play, Wow Goon guilds, the cliques in certain threads (the fgc and Let's Play fags in the Games section), Helldump, and Ozma played large roles in ruining the forums after Lowtax stopped caring about his own site. Wow, Tumblr, and Let's play brought in copious amounts of cancer to the SA Forums, and Helldump was basically your beta version of a cancel culture network trying to ruin lives Goon or non-Goon. If god forbid you made a post that set off Zoe and the goons who lurked on Helldump, they would go after you if they weren't trying to swat or drive someone to suicide. The cliques got really bad in game threads, worse with the new influx of people grabbing power thanks to Ozma and friends (fgc and mmo threads were just circlejerks after WoW and Eve came out). What didn't help the original users' case was some of them like Spokker Jones were exposed as pedos or creeps, and Axemaniac went full retard after DNF flopped. X-Jakk was also another fag who made a really shitty FF6 romhack that's unplayable even if you're an OG Goon.
I was just thinking today that last year was the 10 year anniversary Fatbeef and his boyfriend Betus called out Pewdiepie over shtity rape jokes. 10 years after that happened Felix wound up successful and happy while Fatbeef became an insufferable and unlikable sjw bitch with a strong case of TDS, an ugly wife, scummy friends in his clique, an irrelevant riff channel, and little to no views on his current channel. Felix realized the rape jokes sucked, but he stuck to his schtick while expanding onto other things. The guy looks happy with his family, and he looks like he loves to make content for his fans. If anything, Felix is way more influential than Mike will ever be. Pewdiepie is a household name for some families, and probably more relevant on SA than Fatbeef (because he mades the Troons and Far Lefties that infest the forums rage a couple of times, and still does to this very day).
Fatbeef, on the other hand, ironically became the thing(s) he hated. Someone donated a game for Mike to play only to rage quit the game and ironically act like DSP throughout each stream. Retsupurae fell apart when Mike and Betus bent the knee to the sjws, but before that happened Retsupurae made the retarded decision to let fans do guest riffs called Geusupuraes. Guesupurae was an unfunny disaster because most of the guests sucked at jokes/riffs, and if you called them out on youtube or SA they would go into tard rages (Hot take that might be wrong: Zoe Quinn might have been one of the guests. They were riffing a Battletoads LP, and she argued with anyone who mocked and criticized her). Come 2016, Mike develops full TDS to a point even Betus told him to chill while Proteus made fun of him later. Then we found out in 2017 or 2018 that most of Fatbeef's LP buddies like Voidburger, Psychadelic Eyeball, and Chip got exposed as horrible sjws and leftists who defended and supported Shmorky and his pedo-grooming antics. Despite the 39k+ subs from goons (let's be real), no one watches this fat fuck's videos. No one gives a shit about Retsupurae and its pathetic legacy anymore.
Just look at the pictures, and tell me which one looks with his life decisions. I can understand Mike not wanting any spotlight, but the guy dropped the ball after the Pewdiepie stint. Betus didn't do much better, but I don't know much about Betus.
