holy shit the mods actually did something I agree with

The woke crowd was outraged about the florida shooting and were losing their minds all over the forums. Some of them went into The Firing Range gun subforum to call people murderers and mock their "murder toys" and a bunch of them actually got probated for it.

There is now a blowup in QQCS by people mad at the probations saying that SA shouldn't tolerate such toxic masculinity or gun fetishising of any kind.

I dont get the logic of invading a sub thats been there forever and most subs started as a way to contain people, I remember AI used to titled "you car people are annoying go here" or something like that.

And honestly after Vegas no school shooting will ever top it.

These people should not judge another subset of their community upon such such sensationalist claims. They should just leave them alone so they can continue to proverbially fire shots at one another.

Its like when the troon brigade invaded AI because they used "tranny" to refer to transmissions. Or invaded (tried to?) the military subboard. And the gaming boards.

Its not like outrage about anything that isn't fellating troons and Pocs is anything new. They just occasionally get riled and go to the only place on the forums that don't 100% toe their line spoiling for the fight. Provided the SA boards don't implode due to Lowtax's missmanagement, one of these days they'll succeed in getting it shut down.

This reminds me of when I saw the LGBTQ thread on YOSPOS. Normally that's a very insular, dry forum about computer jokes, and suddenly you have a headquarters for self righteous computroons to camp out after they're bored of the trans megathread.

You might as well rename the forum to Something Allyful.
 
Screeching about guns and the probations they received for mocking gun owners didn't work so someone found out that last year one person in the gun forum responded to a picture of boots that accidentally left swastikas on the ground when wet with "Are they good for stomping queers?"

So now there has been hundreds of posts screeching for justice while claiming that the forums harbor people wanting to stomp minorities and LGBT people. I think 1-2 people are wasting their time trying to explain what jokes are but the vast majority of woke people are melting down right now.

I remember when SA was a vanguard of edgy humor. Even as recently as the election there were still good posters on there. Now you can't tell a joke without getting dogpiled unless it's about the cheeto prez or the wondrous virtues of socialism. It's literally turned into NeoGAF, but GAF still had pretentions of being relevant by the time it died and even goons know SA is going down. I give it a year or two before it fully implodes.

SA has this ability to keep from imploding despite the tardation of its leadership. SA's been about 2 years from imploding into a faggot singularity for 10 years now. Hell, FARK is still a thing.

What you will end up seeing is SA being even less relevant that it is now. SA used to produce humor, now its for socialist & tranny fart sniffing. The only people I see linking to SA are banned pants-shitters posting links to laugh at SA's decay, not anything intentionally funny.

What's kept it together this long in spite of Lowtax's nonexistent leadership is its tight-knit culture. Goons are a very self-policing community, and that used to mean shitty zero-effort posting wasn't tolerated but now it means if you post anything that rubs the progressive inquisition the wrong way you get banned. They've fought so hard to make sure SA is bubble wrapped on all sides that they've driven away all of the talented people who used to post there. They've lasted until now because of their funny memes; without that, why would anyone pay $10 to post there? Especially not when 4chan and Twitter are free.
