I was on SA the other day digging for an old article and one of the threads in the sidebar seemed to be a hive of goons shitting their pants in fury over the Indian Supreme Court ruling it illegal for Muslim men to instantly divorce their wives through triple talaq, presumably because it was anti-Islam. The women who campaigned for the verdict are liberal Muslim feminists, by the way.

I got paywalled so I'm not actually sure if my supposition is true but I'd love if someone could check. I wouldn't put goons above throwing women's equality under the bus of peace because it was incompatible with conservative Islamist theology.

I haven't read all the posts but it looks like a mixed bag of unfunny humour and a few defensive leftists. Someone did get probated for saying Indians have low IQs, however.

After Charlottesville the Mock thread(was a liberal mock thread until it was opened up to mock everyone because lefties got mad iirc?) was invaded by unironic communists and antifa sympathisers who spent days and many pages calling everyone nazis, or accusing them of concern trolling or otherwise carrying water for nazis.

Dear Richard posted a thread asking people if they'd be interested in using Amazon Pay to buy forum upgrades and other shit. He also asks for suggestions on things people would be interested in and cries again about how bandwidth is so expensive and revenue is only 18% of what it should be. This person replies with a ban me.

Dude was pretty much spot on. Lowtax isn't willing to take any responsibility for the state his forums are in. He can't even raise $1000 on patreon for a forum that averages 5-6 thousand logged in users at a time.

People are willing to help the guy get set up to make cheap shirts he can sell to goons and make a nice profit. He's too lazy to buy a mailing label printer, throw a shirt in a bag with sealer, and have usps pick it up.

Some other people suggested a $10 per year subscription but given how well his patreon is doing he probably knows that would end up quite embarrassing.
 
That guy was very melodramatic and I got douche chills from "what is your pride worth, Richard?", but Lowtax's reaction was embarrassing. He really doesn't seem like he takes anything seriously and runs SA like a parody of a business. Somehow his Michael Scott Paper Company has lasted for two decades though.

Custom printed T-shirts are the kind of thing that AliBaba was made for. I think the manufacturing cost is less of an issue than the demand.

This is the crux of it. Lowtax can't commit to anything - he loses interest in things almost immediately and seems to need to be able to bail on something whenever he wants. He would never stick to a schedule of corresponding with someone and making/receiving/sending out shirts.

The only way that SA is going to make some money is if it's in a way that doesn't require Lowtax to put in any effort at all. So, basically, he's fucked - even people that pay money towards various leftist retards' Patreons want something in return, even if it's only a shitty Youtube video once every couple of months.

He got his amazon merch stuff approved, got a 15 page thread of suggestions, some of which were actually good, and then just closed the thread asking for a graphics designer to email him, and given that nothing happened since then I'm assuming that nobody bit(with good reason) or that actually putting in the effort of talking to someone was too much work for him.
