That's kinda what happened with Fruits Basket, with all of the guys who did gay-baiting ending up with women who they'd actually been in relationships with the whole time, although I don't know how many meltdowns there were.

Has anyone actually found Notch's SA account? Pretty sure he posted on TIGSource (An equally cliquey embarrasing website) and lowtax got confused and thought he was like moot or something.

I only found out about him having an account from here. Seems like goons would have been all about promoting Minecraft and proudly touting it as a goon project until it got enormous.

Notch was never a goon but Minecraft was picked up by goons pretty early. This included doing LP, creating extensions, promoting it, etc. That was why Lowtax had a big cry at Notch on twitter at some point.

Two other successful goons were TotalBiscuit and CliffyB (Cliff Bleszinski), both of which became forsaken in the post 2014-ish SA.

It wasnt Notch who was famous for SA Minecraft shit but the YOGScast guys basically started their own British Roosterteeth equivalent doing a Minecraft letsplay.

I know there's been some controversy around them but I think they actually handled it much better than Roosterteeth did and managed to keep their noses relatively more clean. I think theyre still around, too, although theyre probably Mega64-type "old internet" famous.
 
Most of the 'famous' people got bought accounts and later got banned. These include some cunt called The Gord who ran a games shop/blog and terrible comics writer Gail Simone.

It's basically "Grr jews, but I'm not going to say jews are bad as I'll get banned, loads of my friends are jews despite them killing kids".

I'm surprised that unequivocal support of the brave comrades in the west bank trying to find the fuse on a Folgers can full of leftover Iranian gunpowder isn't the de facto position required for goon Right Think.

Edit: Regarding TotalBiscuit, he was never really a goon, he got run out of virtually every forum he posted in. Looking back, he was young and looking to make a name for himself and was really obnoxious about it. He chilled out in later years. He has even admitted that his posting on SA wasn’t good.
 
I hated TotalBiscuit (probably should post this in his own thread) because he was fake. I drink tea! I have a monocle and top hat! Wow I'm totally British!

Yet my clearly faked southern accent appears to be originating from Newcastle or similar where wearing any of that would get your fucking head kicked in within seconds. He did it to appeal to Americans as they're the stereotypes they have about England. I seriously hope he returned home to try talking like that and got fucking glassed on a Friday night.

But I digress...

He only did that whole gimmick as an excuse to wear the hat because he was bald. Just fucking shave your head if you're ashamed.
