I actually think that him apologizing without any real outside pressure and saying as such gives him much more credibility. It shows than he does his own research enough to recognize that he got information wrong, and, in a way that would even potentially hurt his reputation, he admits to his mistakes.

That defense wouldn't hold up well because he didn't get Muta being gay wrong, he got Muta being gay with Nexpo wrong (Debatable). He is still a stinky jeet that sucked a Ryan's dick and goes on Grindr and is proud of it, that has not changed.

Harmful only does surface level research anyone could have found if they tried. He has admitted as much before even though the Muta gay thing felt a bit forced.

He did take a genius move and use it to stab a Mutas non apology. That part will fly over the head of most.

I noticed it, but it's so deep in the video and following so much overblown apologizing that all the bite is taken right out of it. That's also probably why no one is noticing it.

For me personally, it's flunking out of his first term of engineering classes. Pajeet straight up failed, but decided to still call himself an expert in the field for 10 years, cause it's not like anyone was going to check this.

He obviously got legally threatened. Mutahar addressing it in his video says as much with the "Anything else I'll just give to the lawyers" line. It was a weird threat in the video and now it makes sense. Likely contacted HO that he was wrong about the cheating on wife thing and contacted by Nexpo as soon as his videos started getting hit with comments accusing him.

Harmful Opinions was a fucking idiot for not verifying this shit better, but he isn't a Karl Jobst level idiot and actually published a full retraction when he realized he was wrong, which is smart.
