If he's now going to remove his old haunted videos(assuming he hasn't been doing it already) then that's really gay. They aren't great, but they're nice to fall asleep to. Hopefully someone has been archiving them. Remember, PreserveTube is NOT an end all solution these videos CAN get taken down just like on Internet Archive. Always save a hard copy on your drive!
I always never like Muta that much. I recall watching his videos and then eventually realizing how much he lies about shit so I couldn't trust him. The thing that broke it for me was his older videos back in the day where he does "Deep Web Exploration" that I'm fairly certain was mostly fake. Just watch his "Sad Satan" video and see his his fake-ass dry heaving to what was allegedly CSAM. I'm actually convinced at this point that most of the things he said or talked about are outright fabrication. It blows my mind that anyone would let this absolute grifter become famous, but he kept getting bigger and bigger for nothing.
I don't claim to remember every single deep web exploration video, but part of his channel's identity at one point was indeed going to much less visited sites, especially at the time. Somewhere along the way, he stopped doing spooky gaming/deep web stuff and went full stop with being a "tech guy", which aside from his virus investigation videos I am pretty sure were either amateur or downright lies. Then, he became a sloptube channel, which brings us to today where he is a fraud and a joke, bordering on becoming a lolcow(probably something to do with that medallion). So if you want to know why he became big, the answer is that he jumped on every bandwagon he could thing of over the years: he started doing creepypastas and deep web videos when that was all the rage, when longer, more technical content became popular he channeled his inner IT jeet and made his own videos, and when we entered the more modern slop content era, Mutahar became brown MoistKritical. Man is a chameleon, he will always try and blend in with the others to get clout and money. What killed him was, well aside from tempting the wrath of Magi-Chan, trying to enter the sektur and trying to once again become big over there. Didn't work out that well, someone should have told Mutahar what happens to those who try to wrestle in the mud with the other pigs: they get covered in pigshit and mud. While that part isn't new to him, I guess being on the receiving end of a drama feud, this time as the victim rather than the "good guy exposing the truth"(like for example when he and Jobst took down Jirard of The Completionist) is.
That Slop YouTuber Harmful Opinion is launching a salvo of content against Mutahar, as if he has a massive grudge against him.
He said during the Pirate Software saga that he really didn't like the guy, so that's why he made so much content on him. Of course, it could just be him simply riding the algorithm wave or start one up for those slop bucks, but it also could be something as simple as "I don't like this jeet, fuck him in particular".
