Looks like he's taking the Youtube whore method of changing the title of a video after a couple of hours. The original video title of the now "Metal Gear Solid 2 Predicted The Future" was "We're Killing The Internet". A shame that PerserveTube wasn't working for me but some people out there already archive via Wayback Machine. That's how I got the original title because I already forgot.

Anyone that believes in "Dead Internet Theory" is the same kind of retarded that believes that they live in a simulation and a majority of people are NPCs. It's plain narcissistic to think you are somehow above everyone because you live in a heightened state beyond the scope of an average person. If you took the time to actually go out and have a conversation with an average person, you would realize that they have stories about their life that you could relate with at least on some level. That would be disadvantageous, because it's easier to assume that everyone else is beneath you intellectually because they're not as "real" as you are. Just because discourse mostly follows the path of least resistance doesn't mean that everyone but you is braindead. It's called zeitgeist, but I wouldn't expect a street shitter to know what culture is. Quit using solipsism as an excuse for being a self centered faggot.

I agree for the most part. I could see dead internet theory coming to fruition, but more from the perspective that the internet is massive. Almost incomprehensibly so. YouTube alone is far larger than most people realize. How many times have you heard of a channel with tens of millions of subscribers that you've never heard of? It's easy to forget that you inhabit a tiny pocket of the platform. From a dead internet perspective, I think of the internet like space. The pockets of human activity would be the planets in this analogy. The space would be AI that goes largely ignored/unnoticed. Two bots could go off and have a conversation without any human ever knowing.
 
I saw someone allude to the Mutahar controversy on YT, only to come here to try to figure out the deets.

It took me 8 pages of reading posts before someone actually outlined that this is about the Canadian pajeet trying to distance himself from a loli faggot former collaborator than reneging again when he took some heat.

The thing about this ‘jeet is that he isn’t very knowledgeable on any of the subjects he speaks on. He only knows particular sections outside clearnet that are well documented by others. All of the “virus investigations” he has done have had very in-depth blog posts written by them. Like most Indians, he’s really good at taking credit for other people’s work and trying to deflect heavily when called out on his bullshit.

There was a video he uploaded a month or so back where he did a “deep dive” on a very common email spam and made it out like he was being specifically targeted. Dude is a huge fraud but now he has also dispelled all of the good will he once had. Honestly, he should just go full bore into the gay commentary community shit because no one is going to take him seriously.

Dead internet theory is true in a place like Twitter, not even bluesky, Twitter. It's just filled with NPCs and bots. If you look at somebodys tweets, say Bindu Reddy former candid ceo and ai freak, it's just nonsense, she might as well be a bot with how garbage the posts are. To take some politisperging take iamyesyouareno, I really doubt he has a brain, just look at the slop he churns out. I think that's the operative word, slop production. Dead internet theory may not be true realistically but there has been a 300% increase in slop from mid 23 to end of 24. Slop seems like content which can only be produced by bots. Since the internet is rotting with slop, it might as well be dead even if people are using it.
