Only things I've found so far, Saudi Arabia intercepted a ballistic missile flying at or over their capital:

In an "anti-corruption" sting the Saudi King had most royals with positions and ministers stripped of their powers and put under house arrest.
Saudi Arabia's King Salman has removed a prominent prince who headed the National Guard, replaced the economy minister and announced the creation of a new anti-corruption committee.

The Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya news channel also reported late Saturday that dozens of princes and former ministers were detained in a new anti-corruption probe headed by the kingdom's powerful Crown Prince Mohammed Salman. No further details were immediately given.

The king ousted one of the country's highest-level royals from power, relieving Prince Miteb bin Abdullah of his post as head of the National Guard. Prince Miteb was once considered a contender for the throne.

The monarch also replaced Minister of Economy and Planning Adel Fakeih with his deputy, Mohammad al-Tuwaijri.

Now the House of Saud is going to bomb Yemen back to the Stone Age, the Paleolithic to be precise. Since the start of the Houthi revolt, they've already been bombed from the Bronze Age back to the Neolithic, so there's not much farther to go before the Yemenis are once more living in caves and trees.

good

To be clear, the Houthis have been launching SCUDs deep into Saudi territory at least since July. So this isn't really an escalation. It is notable only in the sense that this is the first time it appears to have come close to actually disrupting anything. The Houthis are kind of like the retards in Gaza, endlessly firing lesser missiles and rockets into enemy territory and hoping to occasionally hit something.

In any event, the real tragedy is that there have apparently been no casualties, or even any reported injuries. Two sets of Quranimals trying to kill one another is something we should all want.

Wait, only "some" shit? That's quite an understatement.

And Saudi Arabia fighting corruption... That's like hoofing mosquitoes out off an house with broken windows.

So it took them that very long to decide they'll make sure there's no more corruption in Saudi Arabia?

If they wanted to hit something they should've just used planes.

Like those 15 Saudi hijackers did.

Here's to a future Saudi Arabia under a strong autocratic ruler that will finally drag the country out of the 7th century. Mohammed bin Salman will have to be like Louis the XIV and make himself the state if he wants to stamp out the worst elements of Saudi Arabia.

On my normienewsfeed on one of my webmails' front page this was like half of the stories, so ((((somebody)))) apparently gives many fucks about whatever this shakeup is/was.

Saudi Aramco, the state-owned Saudi oil company, is getting ready for an IPO.
The company is worth 10 trillion USD, so it’s a pretty big fucking deal.

I think these events are linked to each other, but I’m not sure.
Edit: turns out they are.
