Is that... A TENTACLE? NOO NIGGER-MAN HELP ME I'M GOING INSAAAANE AAAH
In a lot of his stories he does makes allusions to people that disgust and/or scare him. This man seemed to show disdain for everyone in much the same way, from niggers to arabs to italians to fellow whiteys that weren't from a noble bloodline like he was.And if you just read his stories you’re really not going to pick up on any racist shit. There’s maybe one story (the one about the town collapsing on the immigrant people) that you can get a view into his psyche with. It’s also not even a good story so who cares.
Buddy Holly glasses are a relatively cheap frame style that was common amongst the masses because of their affordability; combined with the fact that they are the standard "no frills" design you are forced to wear if you are in the military.I always thought the Crazy People Glasses were the super cheap frames that you get on the real shit insurance. The kind that you have if you're working at like, Starbucks while you're waiting for the Revolution to come.
Where do these mental cases even find these crazy people glasses? Is there some special store, like the one where sex offenders find their pedo glasses?
I don’t really remember that, but I’ll also admit I haven’t read every single one of his stories. I guess I do remember some sort of weird mystical ideas he had about African and South American people. Is that... A TENTACLE? NOO NIGGER-MAN HELP ME I'M GOING INSAAAANE AAAH

Lesser known fact about him is that he also had a jewish wife with whom he was in good terms even though they ended up amicably divorcing. Also nigger-man was his grandfather's cat (or father's- I can't remember)
I hate this mentality, it especially annoys me in Lovecraft's case because I love to play the armchair psychanalist and try to explore how he conveyed his paranoid phobias into genre-defining supernatural stories. I personally find it quite fascinating. But really I hate how often it’s brought up when you hear about him, or as a reason to not read him. You can enjoy good things made by assholes. It doesn’t mean you endorse their ideas. There’s a reason he’s remembered pretty fondly, he made some cool/weird shit
people would love him nowadays so why arent they?Wasn't Lovecraft also disdainful of Republicans? I seem to recall a quote attributed to him shitting on the GOP, and it was even printed on one of those crappy attention-seeking t-shirts.
Because POCs are sacred to SJWs that hating the right people can only take you so far.people would love him nowadays so why arent they?

Unrelated, but do those things actually work, or are they a dumb fad?Group 1: The cosplayers
Many of these retards don't actually need glasses, but they wear them for the aesthetics. In these cases, they're usually wearing blue-blockers, which you can get in places like Target and Amazon just as easily as you can buy off the shelf reading glasses. They're especially common among gamer-types because they're supposed to help prevent headaches from staring at a screen all day.

The blue blockers? Yeah, the kind of do, but I think it's a ymmv thing along with the quality of the coating. I have it on my prescription glasses and I've noticed a reduction in the number of headaches I get, but these are also all-the-time glasses. I don't know how helpful they are for people who only wear them when gaming.Unrelated, but do those things actually work, or are they a dumb fad?
The military lie (or rather "strategically recalibrates intelligence"). How novel. There are a few inaccuracies with this video, I don't know how old Emma is now (I'm guessing early or mid-20s) but gay marriage wasn't legal until 2008, and adoption for gay couples wasn't allowed until 2003 in California, the first state to legalize gay marriage was Massachusetts in 2004 and the first state to allow gay couples to adopt was New Jersey in 1997.
