Three timelines actually (with some games being canon for the three before the split) . It seems is just toon link crossdressing because is 'funny' (and Aonuma knows about the Tumblr fanbase continuous demand of female link ).
 
A lot of Tumblr seems to have the hots for Link and/or a forced crossdressing fetish so if people mad about trans stuff dislike it another half will love it.

It also doesn't matter that those white farmers and landowners weren't colonists; many of them were born in Zimbabwe. It doesn't matter that these people were run off their own land by angry mobs just because their skin color happened to be the same as the previous colonists. Oh, and you know what also doesn't matter? The fact that the people he gave the land to had no fucking idea how to farm and so the "plan" was a complete and total bust and a thinly veiled publicity stunt to get his approval ratings up.

None of that matters, because TAKE THAT WHITEY!!! Minorities only matter when they're not white!

I mean, really. Can you even imagine the way Tumblrinas would react if a white despot dictator "president" forced a minority consisting of black farmers to give up their land to some white people who don't know the first thing about farming? And on top of that, issued a statement saying "No black person will be allowed to own land"? They would literally shit themselves out of sheer rage. But because it's a black person taking land away from a white minority, it's "empowering" and "great news" and "inspirational." I wonder how they feel about the fact that he persecutes gay people? Mugabe just seems like a bigot to me, but then again I'm a shitlord so what do I know.

Also, I really don't like this "Well, this land was originally stolen, so it's okay to steal it back after generations have passed!" mentality. Was it wrong to steal land in the first place? Of course. But the thing is that the original colonists and the people they stole the land from have been dead for years. No one living today was personally affected by it, as much as they like to pretend that they were. Those white farmers weren't colonists, they were born in Zimbabwe and were legitimate citizens who had a right to their land, only to be run out of their homes and livelihoods- as well as being banned from the opportunity to regain those things- because of the color of their skin. Not only that, I highly doubt that the land was given back to the descendants of the people who lost it; they were probably just a lucky percentage of black people. And I doubt that all of the white farmers were direct descendants of the people who did the stealing. But whatever, apparently these people "deserve" it for daring to be white.

I'd love to see how these Tumblrinas would react if some random Native Americans showed up at their doorstep and were like "Oh, yeah, some white people took this land away from some Indians a few hundred years ago, so we're coming to reclaim what's ours. Pack up your shit and get out." Would they be so willing to defend their "right" to take land then?

They'd claim to be part Native American and call them racist for erasing mixed race people. Something like this actually just went down in the Stray Sheep thread, but with black people and selfies instead of Indians and land. It's...just as retarded as it sounds.

They'd be angry on Twitter about how the government isn't doing enough to help them (the tumblrinas) find new housing. I wonder how they'd react if the same situation happened but with a black family being kicked off their property...

Either working some menial job given to them out of pity/quota needs or living with their parents continuing to post crap on Tumblr. They've proven time and time again they cant function in the real world and society is starting to humor their bullshit less and less. That is assuming it isnt all just a phase they'll grow out of eventually, at least I hope to God that's what happens with the majority of them.
