A Liberal Democrat activist who sits on two national party committees has been suspended from her regional party after a string of sexist comments on social media. The activist in question, Sarah Noble, made multiple tweets of a disturbingly hateful nature, including “kill all men”, “fuck men”, and “die cis[gendered] scum”.

Noble sits on the national committees of the LGBT Liberal Democrats and the Secular & Humanist Liberal Democrats. She has also been elected to the executive committee of the National Union of Students’ LGBT wing, which, like the LGBT Lib Dems, has a zero-tolerance attitude towards hate speech.
She is also a former team member of the “Atheism Plus Block Bot".

I'm fairly confident if you have sex with underaged girls you'll get punished just as bad and be treated like shit for the rest of your life. I have a very young niece, and while I hated shows like Honey Boo Boo and Toddlers and Tiara before (never watched them, but the concept is disgusting, and the small clips I watched of them made me feel unclean), but after visiting my sister and spending time with my niece and nephew and seeing what a bundle of joy they are, those shows cease to be merely disgusting, but are now utterly vile, evil shows.

Also what those people are doing is not encouraging pedophilia, it's sexual roleplay, they can both pretend to be back in high school. The people there are all adults and it's just a fantasy. I'll bet that if the guy really did come across a 15 year old high schooler who was hitting on him like that, he'd likely not find it so amusing.

That South Park episode where everyone was revolted to hear Ike had sex with his teacher only to change their tune when it was explained it was his female teacher? That wasn't even satire, that is how it really is for male victims.

That's true for the general population, but internet media, academia, and young activists are all majority left-leaning, and they have more social clout (especially in blue states or places with lots of overlap between these groups like universities) than social conservatives do in some ways. Compare HuffPost and Buzzfeed's demographic to FOX's.

People talk a lot about the Christian right and their antics, but the emerging group of SJW ultra-progressives are taken a lot more seriously by the media and young people. At least that's my impression; I've not had much interest in politics lately.

Not that political liberalism is bad, but social justice warriors are something else entirely that can't really be called "liberalism".

Note, you'd think the "LGBT Liberal Democrats and the Secular & Humanist Liberal Democrats" would be completely SJW (and in fact they apparently elected this repulsive person), but note how organizations that actually want to continue to exist respond when they get confronted with bullshit like this in their organization.

At a time of unprecedented cooperation between straight and LGBT people to push things like marriage equality and make discrimination, at the very least, unprofitable, the last thing pragmatists are going to support is some fuckwad spewing hate speech like a moron.

I'd love to have seen the look on her face when she pulled the "b-b-but it's not hate speech when it's ME" card and they told her to hit the fucking road.

I'm sure he would respect people's pronouns, if only because he misinterpreted them as new spells or magic words. But I'm glad that we look to fictional super villains to guide us in these trying times.

JKR mentioned when she took a look at how the Nazis determined purity, she was shocked at how closely it mirrored how the death eaters judged it too. So yeah, death eaters = wizard nazis. Actual Nazis won't be respecting those pronouns either.
 
Yeah, I don't think there's anything in the Harry Potter canon that suggests Voldemort would "respect people's pronouns'
