Having a computer, internet access, and free time to fuck around in Tumblr. Many third-world people couldn't imagine what that's like. What a privileged shitlady.

Maybe they could try building their own PCs. That's what I did and it worked out to be a lot cheaper than buying a pre-built machine.

I don't know if it was my white privilege that allowed me to learn how to plug in all the necessary parts or my relation to Dutch colonials that helped me install the OS. That said, I managed not to get my ovaries twisted up in the circuitry or allow my rampant lesbianism to distract me while I was putting everything to together, so clearly its not just the dudes or the breeders that can build a decent PC.
 
No don't tell them to build their own we don't need them saying putting their own pc together is too hard and try to ruin it for anyone that can do it. Anytime they invade something they think is cool they believe right out the gate they will be the best or very important in the community but when it doesn't happen its not because they're an average joe like you or me and anything to really be good at you fall on your ass a couple of times its because someone or something is holding them back so they must "make it better".

Not every person that plays games on PC's would pour in $5000 dollars unless they thought the only good computer was some pre-built from Alienware. Besides, the consoles have the con in not being able to play mods or even old games and even then, a good gaming computer can be in the hundreds range from near the price of a console to slightly higher. And I thought it was games like Bayonetta that would make someone on Tumblr rage.

The privileged shit-lady would try to justify her computer and internet in saying that she doesn't have a fancy computer. Even then, she still has more than others that wouldn't have a computer or even free time.

Either they wouldn't know about building their own computer or they ended up destroying the parts to build one, costing them more money. They might even lack the knowledge that higher price doesn't always mean an I7 is better than an I5 (IIRC I7 is better than an I5 beyond gaming but besides that, one would spend a bit too much if the I5 and I7 are matched in gaming).

Personally, I hate the stage of putting the motherboard in the case and mounting it to those little bolts and the like. That's where you're most likely to destroy something. Also, I got really sick of doing it when putting machines together was part of a job. So I usually just get a barebones system with the case, power supply, board, CPU and memory, then add the rest. The last time I did this, it was actually $50 cheaper getting them already put together than buying the parts separately.

You're also assured the parts all fit together and at least boot from BIOS.

So even if you're cheap and lazy, you don't have to be a console peasant.
 
I wonder how much of the SJW crowd has some kind of mommy/daddy/people issues that cause them to join the SJW crowd, adopt a non-binary gender, and turn on normal people just for being themselves.
We know damn well it's a fad/trend of an anti-conformist/special snowflake nature, it's still entertaining to think of what sorts of issues could be rattling around in their minds that causes them to seek social justice control. Sociopathy has already been cracked at in various SJW-related threads which isn't too out there considering that they don't give a damn about anyone but themselves until someone gives them asspats for racking up victim points. And everyone we pick on tend to have issues with parental figures in some form, often brought on by them fighting the need to improve themselves and blaming everyone but themselves.

It's mostly the natural sense of rebellion inherent in adolescence, methinks.

Key word "mostly," which excludes the truly batshit beyond-saving types.
 
It absolutely and continuously astounds me how many people who whine about the "PC Master Race" shit own a Mac. I assembled my own PC almost three years ago, and it is still close to top of the line. It cost less than a MacBook Pro. Oh, I'm sorry, is making a PC from parts somehow a part of the patriarchy?
