There's no point in trying to be an ally. As tolerant as I am, I'm glad I learned early not to bother with the whole ally fad because no matter how tolerant you are, you will never be "enough" of an ally for them. You could take a bullet for them and still be considered an "accomplice."

The concept of "treat others the way you would like to be treated" is completely foreign to these people. They think it's perfectly peachy keen to literally harass and bully others but if someone does so much as politely call them out on their beheviour they cry "tone policing"

ive seen people do that it makes them reveal everything awful and embarrassing about themselves and their ideas and they always spend more time convincing themselves than anyone else

There is little-to-no exaggeration to this paraphrasing of sentiment I've seen expressed by some of these idiots. Though I guess it's more often expressed along the lines of "MLK was peaceful, and look where that got him."

That last part is hilarious because Malcolm X's death is widely believed to be a hit put out by Louis Farrakhan because of a power struggle between them brought about by a combination of:
- Malcolm finding out that Elijah Muhammad (who Farrakhan was loyal to) was using his position to coerce women into having sex with him
- Malcolm finally making his Hajj to Mecca, finding people of all races gathered there, and realizing as a result that Muhammad fucking lied to him about all the shit about Yakub and shit, thus as a result becoming a pacifist focused on unity rather than someone using violent rhetoric, something which Farrakhan didn't like very much
 
no idea but that does make a good point as stupid Laci's feminist videos were at least she made herself presentable in the and wasn't overly emotional
