Thing is though, I'll bet that a good many of the Miami Cubans WHO ARE celebrating are the same ones who freaked out when Elian Gonzalez was returned back to his father. They're completely out of touch with the situation there, they think they're going to go right back home, and everything's going to be the same as it was when Batista in charge.
Now, I'm not saying I support Castro by any means. But the whole situation there is a can of worms -- like most of Latin American politics, it's not so simple.

Most of the people who were around when Batista was in charge are dead as well.
Serves them right for thinking a wrestler would make a great leader.

The morons are everywhere but so incompetent they never get anything done. All it would take is one unscrupulous bastard (like Che and Fidel, who used to tie Bastia soldiers to trees and execute them, or sometimes do a mock execution "for fun") to take advantage of these fuck wits.

They barely understand the concept of people who have different opinions aren't evil beings. They want to be the good guy and the ends justify the means.

It's why you wind up these days with people like Ben Shapiro being lumped in with "far right" speakers when he's more of a liberal that believes ideas should be challenged until a good settlement is reached and that government should stay the fuck away from marriage, he personally opposes Gay marriage but believes a debate must be had on the ideas of it regardless.

That guy is an idiot. Many Cubans have light skin and easily pass as "white" (as do many other South American ethnicities).

I don't recall many people crying when Kim Jong Il kicked the bucket. Or maybe I didn't look in the right places to see non-North Korean people that actually mourned for him.

Kim Jong Il died in 2011, iirc, right when the SJW craziness was taking off. If he died this year like Castro, I wonder what the reaction would've been.

That reminds me. During my Tumblr days, I would occasionally see a "North Korea isn't that bad u guise! America is the real problem!" post. But overall, I don't think your average SJW gives a shit about North Korea because it isn't America/The western world.

They did freak out about that movie that came out recently about nk, cant remember its name tho("the interview"?)

I did see a while ago a post on tumblr that whined how people only care about dystopian fiction if its set in a western county.

I never understood how they could be so demanding about representation especially if a story takes place in europe where, yano, white people live.
I mean if you wanna see more pocs why not idk watch some bollywood movies? In korea, china and japan live action movies exist. im pretty sure you could just tweet "hey anyone know some good movies from some african directors?" and get some recommendations.
Maybe their minds are too slow to read the subtitles

I also never understood that. There is media out there that represents POC/their cultures (made by the own people, as well!), and with the Internet nowadays it's easy to find. instead of bitching about european media showcasing white people, why don't they bring awareness to movies made by the actual people (who knows better than them when it comes to their representation)? Yet I never see SJWs talking about Bollywood movies, or reading latin american literature, or watching japanese soap operas...Instead all their focus and attention (reblogging on tumblr) is just towards "white" media. Hmm, practice what you preach?

And the only reason people in North Korea "mourned" his death was they'd haul you off if you didn't seem to be upset enough.

I think there's a member of the ratking who thinks north korea is totally great and everyone else has just bought into bullshit Western propaganda. I can't for the life of me remember who they are though.
 
These people should move to Cuba or North Korea if they love them so much. Of course over there they'll have no choice but to praise their new prisons, but we'll know they're suffering, and that's good enough for me.
