Google fired some guy for writing this memo critical of their diversity policies, ostensibly because by writing this memo he "[advanced] harmful stereotypes in [Google]". Of minor note is that the memo was released privately to internal Google discussion groups, that Google has neither denounced nor acknowledged the leaker, and the especially minor fact that Google openly announced the dismissal of this engineer for writing something before disciplining or even acknowledging the threats against him from his former coworkers.

As sometimes happens when a company fires the author of a leaked internal document before firing the people threatening to break his jaw, a lawsuit has been filed.

Background:
So Google has spent "at least $265 million on the [diversity] efforts" with no measurable "improvement". This may have something to do with the fact that "diversity executives" tend to be of the intellectual calibrate of former GitHub exec Nicole Sanchez, who apparently thinks that Asians will join ranks with her against "white women" despite being already disproportionately represented in high-paying positions.

As an aside, Asians' relationship to affirmative action can probably be summarized by the lawsuit Asian students filed against Harvard for their race quotas.

So what kind of person would such a misinformed nincompoop hire to make their workplace a "safe space" for women and minorities? Why no other than Coraline Ada Ehmke (thread). Coraline's tenures lasted a year for five years running before she took on the Safety Engineer position at GitHub - $240k/yr for the curious.
As Coraline's past five employers could have probably predicted, Coraline would up getting fired for making the women around her at GitHub uncomfortable, which is as thoroughly she could fail at being a "Safety Engineer" without getting escorted out by deputies instead of security.
The rationale for hiring her was that "she wrote what we considered to be the platinum standard in Contributor Covenant". The Contributor Covenant's 400 words has "an average grade level of about 15". The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's "Prohibited Employment Policies/Practices" page actually beats out this "platinum standard" with a grade level of 12.

It may seem befuddling to make a "platinum standard" of inclusivity with an exclusive reading level, but in the words of the scholar Nicole Sanchez:

I love that she puts that out there right at the beginning because of how strongly these people don't want their own money privilege to be examined.
 
I wonder how long it will be until Social Justice has its own prosperity gospel.

That hostility towards even the acknowledgement of class privilege is pretty common in social justice types.

Speaking of status quos...
The "non-discriminatory ways to reduce the gender gap" portion of the ex-Google engineer's memo proposes a more cost-effective way to address gender inequality in tech than hiring Coralines and replacing them a year later when they start making women uncomfortable: Structure some projects and positions in a way which women will disproportionately out-compete men on and then hire the most qualified person for the job.
Just a look at the projected skill requirements for a few projects. No unqualified political hires, no inflated salaries, no diversity consultants, no skipped reference checks, no Coralines.
Hence why all the ANTIFA at Google now want to break his jaw.

I have literally never heard of anyone having an issue with the female characters in Game of Thrones. Like, literally no-one. It's actually been a key point of praise for the show:

Cersai's ascendance is pretty dodgy because she's a total fuck up so I can buy people bitching about that but you're right nobody bitches about the female rulers in GoT, not in the least because their's plenty of precidence in our own culture for effective female feudal rulers. The only people I've actually come from the other team bitching about Sansa getting raped.

Yes, apparently ANTIFA fuckfaces still ANTIFA it up right after a car plows through a crowd.

Edit: Found the video. Two (suspected, don't have masks) ANTIFA types start walking around people filming the police and paramedics working around the crash area and demand they stop recording about 45 seconds before the end. One of them punches her and knocks her camera out of her hand.

Edit 2: The guy who punched her was arrested and already had an outstanding warrant.
