This guy is an FTM transgender dA user who gets into a lot of drama for joking about rape and making a rapist OC who everybody loves while having an incredibly young fanbase. For more information on this drama, see this journal.

I can try to provide a bit more context, if you'd like! I don't know a whole lot about him, but I'm friends with a few people who either are friends with him or know another person who's friends with him. This isn't a whole lot, but hopefully it'll help.

Sleepykinq is a 16 year old animator from Italy who is fairly popular, and has a decently-sized fandom. Because of this, he gets into a fair bit of drama - this is mostly about his story, known as Renightmare. One of his most popular characters, an anorexic Big the Cat named Mystery Burns, is implied to be a pedophile.
Due to all the harassment he's recieved regarding the "old" Renightmare - which dealt with rape, murder and the like - he's completely restarting his webcomic. As mentioned in the OP, his fanbase is pretty young, and some of his work is pretty NSFW. There's a bit of controversy regarding exposing NSFW to fans that are as young as his, but he's also a minor himself.

And given the age of his fans, sometimes people will get some vile asks for having an art style that looks like his.

Hey there, I appreciate your attempt at a thread, but linking to an archive of the journal hardly counts as worthwhile content.

You want to engage your audience without resorting to 'go read something off-site'. Additional reading, if someone wants to, sure.
