It's possible, but I've used other Vitamin C serums before and have never had an issue. I've never heard of someone reacting badly to Vitamin C, but it does go to show how different everyone's skin is.
Garnier Vitamin C Serum and their masks are notorious for causing reactions, have a quick check of reviews on Google and you'll see what I mean. Most forms of Vitamin C found in skincare are ascorbic acid of varying concentrations; like other acids, ascorbic acid carries the risk of irritating skin.

I've noticed some faint wrinkles on my forehead lately. Is retinol the least intrusive option for this kind of thing? I have somewhat dry skin, and it reacts to the sun pretty easily. I'm already aware of starting with small doses and a low concentration if I do.

I use Ivy Aia face serum w/hyaluronic acid and vit C and it feels very gentle.

What age are you supposed to start using Tret/retinols? I imagine when I hit 25 that's when collagen levels start to fall and it'd be wasteful to use before that?
