Speaking of hair. Has anyone tried Function of Beauty for their hair? Mine has terrible breakage and I’m looking for products to help with that.
Never actually used it myself but I remember getting an ad for their stuff and looking into it because I liked the idea. Based on reviews and social media posts it seemed like for every decent opinion of it there were two more claiming it caused the hair to thin and shed a lot, was enough mentions of it to put me off.

Also with it being around the same price range as a lot of actual salon brands (iirc) it's better to just look at those imo. Most of them have lines for different hair problems so if you know what might be causing the breakage you should be able to find something to help tackle it - I really like Redken products for my own hair.

Wouldn't masks get on pillow?
I wondered that too, I was imagining back in the day where women would lather a thick layer of cream and go to bed.
I found this article that gave me a better understanding of different products. There's a Glow Recipe one mentioned too, lol
I slather on a layer of vaseline after my routine. It does wonders, haven't really noticed it on the pillow, but then again. I'm not a clean-freak and I sleep in silk. Which doesn't absorb stuff from skin like cotton.

Sleeping in a clay mask would do it, but sleeping in a clay mask is terrible for the skin because it’s so drying.
Usually at night I do an AHA mask but it dries down to be slightly tacky so if anything it can collect fluff throughout the night.

If it’s a more messy mask it’s easier to do it in the day when you have some time in the house, or you can get this very attractive skincare silicone mask for sheet masks and sleeping which actually works despite looking fucking insane.

Morning:
Neutrogena Hydro Boost (City Shield SPF)
Super Greens eye cream

Night:
Salicylic acid body wash mixed with Dove Men+Care Extra Fresh
Neutrogena Microdermabrasion*
Neutrogena Ageless Intensive Deep Winkle Serum*
Advanced Clinicals Retinol serum*
Differin adapalene*
Equate Collagen moisturizer
Super Greens eye cream

*I try to give my skin a one to three day break when it comes to microdermabrasion and retinoids/retinols. I also take a multi-vitamin (VitalityOne) and a protien shake everyday.

I tried that Cerave moisturizer, the big tub one that was suddenly everywhere a while back. And it's actually pretty good. I like the texture and lack of scent, and my skin likes it and doesn't absorb it too fast. Like, mosturizing but not coating. It might be too heavy for non-dry skin in the summer though. It has a funny effect on my eyebrows though, where it almost works as a styling product.

It’s the one I mix with vaseline. I find it kinda dry and tacky without. Which reminds of hair paste.

apparently donkey milk is a thing in korean beauty
I've used these masks, though they were the blue ones, and it is suuuuper hydrating and comes with a lot of essence. you can use what's leftover in the packet to moisturize your face and body for days.
I did see some donkey milk products and would have gotten them too if they were from a farmer. I got a bunch of different goat milk items off of etsy in the United States, non corporate etc.

I am infatuated with the almond scented goat milk body butter and extremely happy with the unscented goat milk face cream. I like the body wash and got a natural deodorant from one of the sellers (not with goat milk) that I am also very happy with because it doesn't have baking soda as the active ingredient.

I have decided that all natural hand made nicely balances my better living through chemicals side.

Does anyone have a good solution for tackling frizzy hair? I've bought a few hair creams/gels before but they don't seem to do much/the frizz comes back after an hour. My water isn't on the hard side so that's not the issue. I swear it gets worse especially after you her a blowout and notice the difference.
