Is...is that Kirby as a black guy? Somehow, after all the inflation, vore, weird gay incest, and unthinkable rape torture fantasy fanart that I've seen in my life online Kirby as a black dude is what gets me, so much so that I can't stop myself from wondering aloud about it.
What element of Kirby's character rang out to this person as anything remotely close to human, much less a black person in particular? He's a pink fucking blob. Does Kirby even have a fandom? Maybe I find this so baffling because Kirby is so PG and two-dimensional. It makes more sense when tumblr artists cling to a cringefest like Steven Universe or Adventure Time because they're obsessed with the fact that it's totally deep you guise and has "adult themes".

These look more like beginner amateur art than SJW art to me. I don't know a lot about Touhou (or whoever she is from) so I'm guessing the third pic just has a girl wearing a rainbow headband. While fourth pic is more SJW-orientated with the bow and tie, its still obviously made by a beginner. I'm just (really) hoping the fourth pic has the artist growing out of it and getting better at drawing later.

Today I met the post on Tumblr claiming that it is racist and whitewashing to draw a character's hair slightly less curvy that it is originally.
But redrawing and entire cast as blacks isn't racist, apparently.

He’s a pink orb who fucking eats things and has a rivalry with a penguin. How deep can it be? And this is from someone who’s done extensive research into the Kirby lore. It all comes back to fat fucking penguin won’t share the Goddamn food so you have to get it back.
