It definitely does. Or they'll just take them out.
That or genderbend them just for the yaoiz because A LOT of the SJWs were (and still are) major yaoi fantards that despised female characters for getting in the way of the yaoi ships. Take a look at the Hetalia fandom (which was NOTORIOUS for this) as the fandom has either moved on to even more SJW-y things like Homestuck and Steven Universe or has become both more rabid yaoi fantardy AND SJW-y themselves.

Makes me sad to be a man-smut fan sometimes.

You're not the only one. You are definitely not the only one. Also, the male/male shipping (refuse to call it "yaoi") is enough for one to say that the female gaze is definitely a thing. Hell, yaoi manga/anime was made by straight women for straight women and it is shit that fetishizes gay men perhaps even more than stuff that SJWs/radfems complain about the "objectification of women".

So this one snowflake decided to redesign Miss America so that her outfit would be "less revealing" and "flashy"(?)

She looks like one of the people that died in Beetle Juice. How do you these people not see how anatomically wrong their drawing are!

Here's some goodies form our favorite bitchy bikini girls.

  • Charlotte gets a redesign: I'll give them credit, they kept the feminity, they let her have long, flowing hair (which they now don't like); she looks like she has boobies under that armor.
  • Male beefcake art is still "male gaze" oriented: This is in the comments. Personally, I find the coloring makes his skin look a little greasy.
Poster: This is another example of stuff that still feels male gazey to me. By men, for men. Not that that's invalid, just that these are not the droids I am personally looking for.

Also um... I don't know whether I have seen more cock than your average artist who does nude model sessions every thursday or not but that... thing... looks very strange to me and is uncomfortable to look at. A good analogue for the usual treatment of breasts, I suppose.

Me: What exactly makes it "male gazey" to you? Just curious.

poster: It's because it's the same template as the women get treated with; more flesh, less hair, larger... assets. Basically it's a standard defined by male expectations in imagery of women, applied to a man, with certain modifications that reflect what men value in themselves and eachother.

To some extent I feel like we're taking for granted that women must be looking for the same sort of objectification as men are and letting men define what sexy means for everyone. I realise that perception is subjective, this is just how it comes off to me.

Another Poster: I would say, it's "male gay gaze" or "how male thinks what is sexy for female": guy is nothing but sex object to look at, expecially with his hand on pants. Very accented abs [ mainly male characteristic] and penis [normally it wouldn't looks like that] but nothing more. If his gender was flipped, he would be obviously "male gaze" woman.

Despite what Laci "God, my voice is phoney" Green tells you, the "female gaze" can be just as shallow and self-absorbed as it's male counterpart.
And so a stupid sexy image of Alistair has to be given male gaze because of how he looks. So that means women can't cast their own gaze upon Alistair? They really just want to say it's all male gaze, right?

Only flashy thing with the original were the pants. Everything else would just make her look inconspicous (stars on it would make one think she is just some random patriot or whatever). And that redesign does make the head look like someone injected some fat right in there. They wouldn't see how wrong the drawing is anatomically because "it's my style". In all honesty, while it can be ones style, the anatomy can still come off as wrong in some cases, regardless of whether they tried to make some manly looking woman that "defies the patriarchy" or some cheesecake pin-up model in a chain bikini. Pants aside, Miss America's clothes don't even come off as revealing, they're just normal everyday clothes. She's modest compared to the likes of Starfire or Powergirl.

She looks too old to be the character (who is supposed to be a teenager if I remember correctly).

Yaoi is the pointless shit made for fornication purposes. Gay stuff is gay without needing sex.

So I found this while looking for some Satoshi Urushihara art, since his art is great and fun to look at. He's mainly known for his detailed, shaded look and a sense of extravagance- like, he's most famous for his art for the Growlanser and Langrisser series. Which results in a very enjoyable, kinetic art that's instantly recognizable.

Now look at what they did to one of his newer designs.

Man these people just can't enjoy fun, can they?

I'm not familiar with the style of Urushihara but looking at the redesign, I can only wonder how a hat is problematic unless it somehow made a character look sexy. Also from the hat comment, patriarchy is mentioned. And that expression, both the original and "battle-ready redesigned expressions don't even give off the sense of a warrior. In regards to the battle-ready expression, it just looks rather derp.

The expression on her face in the redraw look rather blank and dull; not battle ready like (s)he thinks.

That's because small hats are cute and these people don't like cute.

I like the misogynist undertones of "women can't possibly be attracted to this, if they want this then they're lying" implication that's going on.

Very classy. Not even the liberated women are spared of these bitches judgement.

That redesign is depressingly ugly.

In an effort to make the Kiwi Farms a more accepting website, I've redesigned the logo to include race, weight and tumblr nose. Untitled.png

So, does this person even know how anatomy works? Because I'm pretty sure that's not how heads look.

I mean seriously, it looks more like someone took a sledgehammer to a clay model and thought the final result was "Perfect!"

I'm also concerned about the skin color change. Was it done just to fulfill the demand for PoC characters? Granted, this one isn't as drastic as other re-designs.
